i imagine people would get beat up for showing up to tournies with this stick
MLG is a pretty crummy organization and this is pretty funny. Would anyone really want this stick? Just slap on your game's artwork... who cares about *MLG* itself? It's not a community oriented company.

It's not that I specifically hate MLG, it's that I hate their typical fanbase.

Yeah, I agree - but at least these guys aren't AS frequent (and are a little older).
Ya, F*ck MLG, I wouldn't be caught dead with this stick. WTF is MLG doing trying to get their greedy hands into the FGC, while not even having fighting games on their stupid circuit. This is nothing but a cash grab by a company that wants nothing to do with what are community is actually about, yet want to get some profits out of it. Makes me sick.
And what the hell, people have been begging for an unbranded TE for a while now, and we're still getting overpriced branded ones...Make a MADCATZ BRANDED TE, it costs 120 bucks, and they look way better. Japan had em, why not us?
Wow this should be great for all of the fighting games sponsored by MLG!!!!
Still don't understand why square gates are still preferred. Honestly I really feel like octagonal gates should be the standard, when every direction is equidistant to center, you'll never have any problems neutral jumping or blocking high, no matter how loose your spring or sloppy your execution. Charge characters are no easier on a square gate IMO, not even triangle motions benefit that much from square gates. (And don't even get me started on circle gates, those are a NIGHTMARE to install correctly and use.)

Stop tempting me, I've always wanted to buy/try an octagonal gate... :'(
I like them they looked good actually I think you guys are mentally retarded. But I guess anyone who plays a video game to this level and logs online to see videos of their video game being played is "mentally Retarded". This of course includes myself, and thus I have failed in this troll and in life
Mad Trash announces new line of MLGay Tournament Edition sticks
lmao. i love eventhubs comments.
waiting for sfxt stick.
As a possible alternative check out: Etokki.com "OMNI."
An impressive looking Arcade weapon from an amazing online store that immediately lets you play on the PS3, Xbox360 or PC right out of the box.
Etokki.com rocks!! The Omni looks solid.
MLG is great, man there's tons of non-deserved hate for it. As an active member of the Starcraft community, I can say that MLG is AMAZING at tailoring events to the needs of a scene. They have done TONS to make the overall SC experience better for MLG. We have gotten sound proof booths, a lager open bracket, changes to the double-elim system, better support for players and many other positive changes over the past year. I would LOVE to see MLG to a FG to it's annual pro tour. 4-5 times a year you could see the best players compete for a decent pot with HD streams and excellent commentary(who got paid for it!) and HD vods later, what's not to love. (Oh, did I mention large exposure of the FG scene as well, that's a bonus)

I just hate the fact we're getting to the point where it's money sweetened by corporate sponsorships, and not just about a community coming together and doing it on their own independently. Good for the people at the top winning the money, sure... it's a nice incentive. But the ads detract so much from a smooth stream that normally goes straight through with just one minute occasional commercials.
Pringer (57) probably works for MLG. His post was like a commercial. "Look what we've done!"
Saw the mlg stick in person this weekend, and it's a lot better looking than the preview pictures give credit for. The red and blue sides are metallic and reflective so they're not as tacky-looking as the pictures show. I wouldn't recommend ordering one until you've seen one in person, especially with the price, but if I didn't already have a marvel 2 stick I would have bought one.
Has gootecks tested their durability yet? ;)
