• ProtoMan Pillz noticed a video by 0JaeTheOne0 which shows wave dashing being done in Street Fighter X Tekken. Check out the Kazuya and Hwoarang player around the 1 minute 10 second mark.
• Although details are pretty scarce, SiliconEra mentioned that Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition will be getting a demo on the PlayStation Network. They also added that all Xbox Live Arcade releases have demos and 3rd Strike Online Edition is part of that group. No time frame was stated here, but the actual release of the game is right around the corner regardless, August 23 - 24, but this is nice for people who are on the fence about picking this up and want to try it out.
• Ono said that Street Fighter X Tekken will be playable at PAX, which is August 26 - 28, in Seattle, Washington. Yoshinori mentions a new build of the game being there, but being this close to the GamesCom show in Germany with the newly announced characters, it's possible he just means it's the build that added in Hugo, Raven, Ibuki and Kuma. Mentioned by Fawaz.
• Desk put up a slow motion version of the Cody SSF4 AE counter combo he did against Adon the other day. Submitted by Arcadiac.
• Maximilian had some left over UMvC3 footage from EVO that he put up on his YouTube page for people to check out that includes live commentary. Tip from Systemofadown77, YourBoiBlu, Rainstereo, Ken123103 and Rafael2487.
I hope wave dashing is Tekken exclusive. I want there to be a difference between the two sides. Maybe the SF characters can have their own little edge in this game.
A demo of 3rd Strike: OE? The only changes it made are replay-related.
(Also, #5: Tekken characters already have longer, possibly more damaging, combos. To give them so many advantages over CAPCOM's creations seems a little...off.)
So what exactly is wave dashing? Moving faster the more you do it?
@6 - I don't know about PSN, but I'm fairly certain that all arcade titles have to have a demo. That's why there's one coming.
Wave dash looks fun to do.
