David_Sirloin, interesting name withstanding, has taken the MvC3 Guide Contest 50$ prize for the month of August with his excellently written Dante article.Dante is an incredibly versatile character who has an incredible amount of special moves. He's adept at rushing people down with his teleport and can mix up his offense with jump cancelable normals and his air dash. On the other side of the coin is a perfectly competent keep away/chip character who controls a lot of space with his Crystal, Hysteric, Air Play, as well as Thunderbolt and Vortex (flight mode) in his Devil Trigger power up super.
Dante makes full usage of all of the games systems and glitches, being one of the few characters lucky enough to be able to both set up and take advantage of a DHC glitch. He's also one of the few characters that can use up all of the combo-extending states. Dante's better combos are incredibly long and flashy, and often build more meter than he spends, making him an asset to a wide variety of teams. This, combined with the previously mentioned ability to DHC glitch in various ways makes him a great team player, who is also great on his own.
