Zhi comes of as really pervy and ignorant in this interview. Asking them private questions concerning their relationship and then even going as far to ask them to kiss on camera. Any one will tell you that in Japan PDAs (public displays of affection) are generally frowned upon and any embracing is usually done behind closed doors. Keep it classy, Zhi!
@Shotosaurus Haha, yeah it's kind of weird but I think he's just trying to be more personable.
Hey Catalyst, I suggest you remove comments that have absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with the topic, just look at comments 1 and 3. How are those relevant? The point of the comments section is to discuss the topic on hand, not ''hey chocos teeth/bite isnt that good''.
@Boyfriend_of_Ibuki Freedom of speech? Why does it matter to you anyway? Since when did posting a comment have to be relevant?
The point of comments, is to chat with the community in general.
@7
If I would have commented "I like her hair," Then I know you wouldn't have said anything. Still though, that comment would "have absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with the topic." You're the one out of line being a cry baby.
And it is on topic. The people here are Choco and Momochi. I commented on Choco. Please... Tell me how the hell my comment is off topic.

''Yay! I'll be poster #1 commenting about someones appearance on a GAMING WEBSITE just after watching something informative about them for 23 minutes!''
See how pathetic that sounds? You agree with that idea?
@Von_Kunlun_BOOF
Actually, some of the comments were removed because the violated rule #3 here: http://forums.eventhubs.com/viewtopic...
Insulting people's physical appearances isn't allowed here. You guys wouldn't do this in real life, at least, I hope you wouldn't, so I don't know why you're doing it here.
You can keep it constructive and keep it to from spilling over into personal insults. If you can't do that, don't post.
^That is meant to be a joke. I was just playing around and trolling. I'm sorry.
i agree that Zhi came off as kinda creepy. But i think he's just trying to shake things up a bit, or maybe he thinks the American audience wants him to do that.
He kinda reminds me of one of those people who are really smart, but don't always have the best grasp on social etiquette.
Alu how bout them Lions ;).
Lol at work can't see the interview damn blocking =^(.
@16 I imagined Sheldon Cooper when you said that. Lol
Lions are lookin good bra! Maybe a playoff contender this season lol! I'm personally waiting for another Cold Michigan Winter and Hockey season!
Let's go Red Wings!
Grimmjow, is that your PSN tag also? We've played b4, but I can't remember the exact typing.
We might have but I've seem about four other Grimmjows but yeah thats my tag up there send me a msg we could have some matches :).
As long as I am not seeing the wonder twins intro I have no problems with how Zhi behaves.
The interview was nice Zhi was funny and spot on. Didn't find anything creepy about it. Everyone knows they're a couple anyway. Hope Zhi has more interview with top players.
@Grimmjow
Cool, I'll shoot you a msg. You main Zangief right? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was you. You dominated all of my characters except Chun Li. This was a while back. But I have a great memory.
As I said before, my PSN is not Aluppoj... But you'll still know it's me when I msg you.
Peace.

"Welcome to the 21st century. Japan is not like that anymore."
Yes it is. What do you base your assumptions on? I base mine on the fact that I see it day to day by actually living here.
"I dont think he was being creepy, grow a sense of humour guys."
Maybe not creepy, I'll say culturally insensitive then. What one society finds funny another does not. If in one country, walking around nude was considered the norm, would that make it any easier for you to do if requested on camera for the whole world to see?
"If in one country, walking around nude was considered the norm, would that make it any easier for you to do if requested on camera for the whole world to see?"
No, but it would be very amusing for the viewers to see how he cringes or gets embarrassed by what's a mundane question to the viewers, which was most likely at least partly Zhi's intention.
Like I said before (commenting on other work from CC-Asia), these guys have a good sense of humor, but it may be too subtle in the delivery so it doesn't get picked up as much as with the original CC crew.
I think Zhi did a really good job, they're definitely questions a lot of people wanted to know the answers too, though asking Japanese people to kiss on camera is a big no-no...
People's personalities (healthy mental people at least) are always deeply influenced by the culture they live in. Japan has always been a more robotic and procedural society, downplaying the importance of impressive emotions.
And those questions weren't ones Zhi wanted to know, it's obvious those questions were asked by the American audience. Zhi's just doing his job.
Wow way to come off as creepy ... In shows like MTV and stuff you can get away with that, but with Japanese video game players that's deff not appropriate. Just watch as Momochi's face slowly turns into a tomato throughout the video :) ahahah
