Tip from makaveli2004.
Damn just about every opponent has 4000PPs and up! In US, you are lucky to run into one on Ranked. Its mostly 1000PP players. Now wonder the Japanese are so good. Plus the connection helps.
Two funny things I noticed while watching these vids: 1: Why does Shiro seem to keep being defeated by Abel players? 2. Why do everytime I see a Thawk player, they have so many PPS yet they always lose?
because these are mostly Japanese pros who dont care about points and play Ranked all day. whereas US players who've never been to tournies think points mean something. big difference
MrPavy, yes indeed you are a scrub... NEXT !!
By the way anyone know to who Shungoken Neurosis lost to at EVO ?!
I know that Mike Ross beat him, but anyone know who's the second one ?
@8 "Why/How are they all using the same mago2dgod account?"
those vids are pirate vids stole from topangatv stream.
watch the entire thing here. mago and tokido was interviewing them. Mago and tokido host this show every week on Saturday.
normally they teach less skilled or new players on how to play SSF4 and some guess players to play AE online.

on the link above, they talk about evo. Shungoken lost to Makoto(the vega player) and Mike Ross. He didn't make it out of pool. If you know Jp, go to 0:34:00 for the interview.
@#20 Makoto wasn't at Evo.
@#13 Shungoku Neurosis lost to Mike Ross in pools and Lucky D in Quarter Finals.
The Lucky D match is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VMceL...
I know Asians study math and science excessively from a young age. I think this reflects on their state of mind and teaches them to endure the rigorous and repetitive training it takes to present top level play in any game.
US players seem less willing to train to be good, though there are certainly some great players online.
Even when you see a US player with a lot of points, it don't mean much. Because they got those points beating a ton of people who had no idea what they were doing.
Hello? This year's EVO champ! Nobody cares?
