Arrancar :
When you consider he only took notes and spliced this together (mind you EVO is offically a week ago now), it's not really that much work, the most work out of his way work that no other person in the community does is the assist me live action scenes. All he did for these videos is literally take a line of videos he recorded and spliced them together and put a voice over on them, I wouldn't be surprised if he's had this done for a good 2 or 3 days.
Come on I need my fix! New characters plarzzzzz D:D:D:D:
(Alright, things I noticed -
Firebrand's Level 3 seems like Kitty Helper, but in the Air. Seems to have a much wider variety of his moves though.
Morrigan seems to have two fireballs - her regular "Soul Fist" and the "Meter Stealing Soulfist"(This one has a bat that goes back to her if you look carefully)
Got to see Ryu's "USE ME! AKUMA DOESN'T TOTALLY INVALIDATE MY EXISTENCE IN MVC3" Power-up super.
Hawkeye does indeed have an arrow that stays in place as a "trap" Max.
Side note: Think it was in his last video, but anyway, Trish seemed to have an "aerial finger lasers".)
tyhanks man great info and i still soo waitng to see t-103 than i can decide wether ima switch out haggar or not
I am against Capcom simplifying Dante's moves. I always liked the technically of Dante's move set and when players like myself seeing other players implementing almost all of his moves in viable combos we are left in awe. Alas, now it seems Dante is noob friendly...
Judging by that first fight, they did JACK to Chun-Li.
I'm not really surprised to hear that Hawkeye might be top-tier. Marvel probably forced CAPCOM to do that to promote The Avengers. :/

The mere fact that he's going out of his way to provide us with free content to watch is still work. Not sure why it was necessary to classify this as "not much" work.
You're right on that there's probably not a whole lot of actual video editing going on, but you still got to ingest the footage, figure out what clips you're going to use, provide the audio with the VO and music. On top of that probably a little color correction and audio leveling as well.
Plus this isn't just one video, but what appears to be a week long series of these UMVC3 Breakdowns. Furthermore I'm sure nobody's paying him to do these either.
Suffice to say #1 Arrancar is correct: he works hard for the community.

I'll preface by saying I don't use Dante, but...
noobs are drawn to him, but that doesn't make him noob friendly.
For instance how do you compare off the top of my head, somebody like Richard Nguyen, Twisted Jago, PR Balrog or any other higher level Dante player to any regular old schmuck still using Dante's week 1 BnB combos or your rudimentary button masher?
I'd say there is a pretty high learning curve just for the button memorization alone in addition to the execution to pulling off some of his longer combos during a match.
Who knows how nerfed he'll get in the final build of UMvC3 and if they'll actually strip away what makes Dante, Dante. DHC is gone, so there's at least that.
yes they made my morrigan alittle better and trish woot XD
Not sure how P. Wright will play, but also very curious. I don;t know why but I keep picturing him playing something similar to Daigo Kazama from Rival Schools but in a VS setting, so maybe a bigger version of Batsu from TvC. Equipped with legal briefs and what not.
I hope Doc Strange is very projectile heavy and has an emphasis on being a lockdown/trap orientated character. Kind of a mesh of Trish and Dormammu. Hopefully with some sort of Dancing Swords move like Spiral. Anakaris would be another character they could emulate, although I doubt they'll have any moves where characters can physically change into other things.
Nemesis will probably be Capcom's equivalent of Sentinel. But will probably be a big tank-like character with less mobility and slightly more health to compensate.
@2
It's a new move. Doing a fireball with S makes Morrigan fire one that drains meter.
@4
Yes, it's a power-up hyper that makes all of his moves better and gives them new properties, and this boost also applies to his as well too; his beam hyper bounces off walls and does more hits, and his tatsu hyper does a hell of a lot more damage, for example.
I'm so glad that Maximilian is as excited as I am for Ultimate. It's looking great. A bargain at £25/$40 in my eyes. However, I'm sure going to miss that beautiful broken Vanilla combo madness and DHC/exchange tricks though. That was my go-to B&B stuff. Oh well.
Maximilian is the real deal he works hard for the community.
