What's wrong with pluralizing the word technique? For me, it sounds ridiculous to use 'technology' to describe a set of techniques - 'Gouken OS Techniques' is so much more meaningful.
Have you ever heard a Wing Chun, karate, MMA practitioners use the word Technology to describe their techniques?
Try googling 'Wing Chun technology' and see what you get.
Imma have to agree with Almighty, the overuse of the word technology is kinda stupid imo. But to each his own.

Yeah, they mean the same thing, but slang is one of the things that make the SF community/culture what it is. If you don't like it, it is what it is, but don't whine, man. I don't main gouken but I do play and know how to use him well and I gonna say, he's hard to play with him as it is. Adding the random lags just ruin my fun out of it.
I main Gouken and he is harder to win with. Someone put in the post for balance changes for him to get a dragon punch but that would take away from the challenge of winning with him and there are plenty of easy players for the for new and pro alike to do the Street Fighter God move F.D.DF or backwards you know what I'm talking about..... to get them selves out of trouble. I have played him since I unlocked. All he needs to be just a little better is the Kongoshin(parry) needs to do hit them(hit stun)just like a poke this solves his wakeup. And he needs Shin Gouken's senkugoshoha(palm) ex only and but the speed just getting hit out of this move is to easy. Balrog does the same amount of damage and he has a move like this. One last thing if you throw a ex fire ball with you should to be able to choose if it goes high HP+HK mid MP+MK or low LP+LK but I will keep on dreaming all you Gouken players need to help me out this would make up for the fact that he loses 100 damage off ultra 1 for the back throw because 1 chip of damage come on! 50 fine its the slowest throw in the game for all you whiners
Goukin you may have a good point there that I'd forgotten about. Similar to Taskmaster's Arrow move/Super where he can choose the angle by choosing two attack buttons. It could be, as you laid out but a little different:
lp+mp = lp fireball and mp fireball
lp+hp = lp fireball and hp fireball
mp+hp = mp fireball and hp fireball
That plus something to help his wakeup (not sure what, ex hurricane hit crouchers maybe?) and he'd be solid for the long haul to SF5, lol
I was tired last night when I added that as you can see lol And on the fire ball thing I meant just one Gohadouken just with two hits like shin gouken just cost meter. could just leave the the ex Gohadouken the way they are just give the option two match Ryu/Kens ex versions. I was hoping that the change to weak palm would have been his wake up for AE you know jump HP stand MP weak palm fadc denjin kinda of hit like the second hit of the ex version and and speed up the release and travel speed for it the longer its charged the faster it go's
