I think P.Champ is an awesome player and he's pretty entertaining. I really can't figure out why so many people flat out despise the guy.

I know people dont like him because he SHOWS his saltyness. The salt just comes out of him in mountains but it happen to everyone. I agree that its very immature of him to not to contain it but its really happens to everyone. And yes @2 I was a bit confused to hear him speak at first. @3 It doesnt matter if he is gay or not. We really dont care. We just care of the entertainment they provide for us.

Another reason I don't do it is cause it's embarrassing to show how another player f'ed up your head and put you out of control. Weak sauce.

Considering how much crap Gootecks got and how much random scrub hatred he had at the beginning of Vanilla and how none of them would say ANYTHING bad about him today, I really REALLY doubt that he gives 2 fs about what random eventscrubs say about F.Champ. Also Mike Ross and Gootecks are big wrestling fans and they knew good entertainment has both Heroes and Villians.

yo phillipino champ is dope. he doesn't care that dhalsim doesn't have all the tools to deal with some situations. but he still stays true and pushes it to the max. i don't care if im ever the best player in the world, but i definitely want to be the best sim in the world. im comin for you champ
People are still too ignorant (or stupid) to figure out that no one is dissing FChamp for his play. Quite the contrary, he's a very good player at multiple games, yet he still gets hated on more then most people. If you take a second to think about maybe you will figure out it has nothing to do with how or what he plays and everything to do with how he acts and what he says. The guy is a prick, I could care less if he was Diago, Fatal1ty, Heaton, Moon, Grubby, Vo0, Justin Wong, or any other pro gamer thats out there. The difference between those top gamers in their games and FChamp in his is a lack of respect and class.
I for one love to see him get his **** blown up. Dude is a herb. Overconfident, plays lame characters in every game and then says he lost due to nerves. We call that choking in the moment.

There are far more people who will tune in to hate him or see how much more they will get pissed off than people who simply won't watch because they don't like him. He gets so much PUBLICITY because of HIS PERSONALITY. That's what people like $23 are too stupid or too ignorant to figure out.
That is why stupid scrubs are not listened to, because they don't see the whole picture, which is also probably why they lose at games.

Gootecks is a punk too. The difference is he covers it up more than Filipino Champ. Even before SF4 Gootecks and Mike Watson had huge beef because Gootecks started sh!t. Fast forward to recently and Gootecks had his hand over the camera while telling Poongko he will f#ck!ng punch him in the face. Gootecks is a fraud.

The crowd audio is so loud it's difficult to hear any of the interviews you did in that room.
Also, you and Mike are like the Howard Sterns of Internet SF shows! I realize that it's good for the community to have more ppl copying your format, but I hope these guys give You and Mike a big thank you for paving the way for them!

@29 yes it is real and that makes it even better for spectators. Its the same way people stopped watching Wrestling(its fake drama!) and now watch Reality T.V. Seriously its win win for col. cc whether F.Champ cleans up his act or not.
Everyone hates fchamp but he is one of the best in the world and at several games. Also try using Dhalsim against Yun, it is the most frustrating experience in my life. Try to not be salty it is impossible. I swear yun has block infinites where sim can't do anything but block.

Btw, Willing participants on reality shows know what their getting into. If Random Joe goes to a video game tournament why should he have some LOSER screaming at him and giving him the Bird in his face!

No, but videos and streams and Real TV are both forms of entertainment. I was simply pointing out that col cc is a business and by that scope they are doing the right thing. I am not trying to make anyone like him or redeem him or anything, but he makes for great entertainment. Lastly as a spectator I'd personally rather see people with passion that care about the event who play and pop off than a bunch of emotionless weirdos shaking hands at the end of the match scared of destroying someone's ego with heated words.
It's all good. I don't think the community is offended by a little "heated talk", I know I'm not. But trash talk and raging, screaming and intimidating are different animals entirely.
I'm a Hockey fan. I love fighting. But I don't like seeing unwilling participant getting bullied by an obvious weirdo who happens to be good at SF.

I'm sure nobody is happy about losing, I know I wouldn't. But it is not acceptable to go guano insane so... openly. You can keep a straight face and tell the person who beat you that you are going to train harder and take him or her down next time or even challenge him to a salty runback or money match etc.
If you take fighting game seriously, then act serious and not as a jackass retard going off every time you lose. Yes, maybe the other person was cheap and lame, you can definitely express that frustration through a extra firm handshake (heh) or a mean stare, that's intimidation.
I'm not telling people to surrender themselves to Daigo level of none-feeling, but come on, fighting game is fought with intelligence, not profanity.
