@4 Yes, thanks... I know what a bug is. What I want to know is what flaw in the game's programming caused it. Maybe different costumes are set ingame as different characters with identical hitbox and frame data and this particular set of hitboxes for Gen wasn't properly corrected. Maybe it's something else. I don't really know, that's why I'm asking.

I think its the way they mounted the costume on Cody. If you notice the first and third costume have sleeves, while the second costume doesn't have any sleeves at all. Maybe Cody had his costumes mounted in a weird way due to his hands being shackled together. Maybe his Costumes work as the hitbox and not the model itself, which would somewhat explain why the second costume shown is immune to the combo as the hitbox would be further back then the other two costumes in which the combo connects. Its very hard to narrow it down without knowing how his model works but these are just educated guesses.
Interesting in deed. Makes us think what else could be slightly off due to alt costumes. I mean we know from MK9 that some alt costumes are not only different, they alter some character's animations completely as well (Cyrax for example), but on SF it never seems to be the case since most alt costumes are more like a layer above the hitboxes since, from the data we have, we can tell they seem to have no connection with how the character look. Well guess we are wrong. Unless they actually have to program the same hitboxes over and over again every time they make a new alt costume. Might sound a little counter productive, but hey who are us to question the way they program the game :)
Now can you fix Blanka's unbalanced looking feather costume that throws off our timing!
Wow they gave the costumes extended hitboxes too? (Or w/e im not a tech dude lol) they should be fixed to the naked models the rest should just be overlay T_T.
I guess it can be visually annoying if for E.G someone is wearing a huge hat but you cant hit it.
What about online, costumes are loaded locally....what players works if they are different?

Not hard to find out about this stuff when thats a BnB combo for Gen. So any Gen player could have noticed it at some point.
