I wish this was a few more months away so or just DLC because this really feels like it's too soon but hey like the man said for a while we did see SF or MvC for 8 and 10 years respectively so gotta be happy they are at least making the games again
Iron Fist is no way sloooooooooooooow. My hype meter is 10/10 for both Nova and Rocket Raccoon. I guess I'm more comic/manga nerd than fighting game nerd.......oh well, I get the best of both worlds.

The Green Lantern Corps + Nova Corps are all based on the Lensman Galactic Police either way.
It's Nova + RR that really convinced me to get this game. I was hanging on earlier, but when the leaks came out, I was like "Damn! Getting it, don't care if it's another 'demo' like the earlier one."
Alot of people are mad about having to buy another game I bought the collectors edition of MVC3 and I still ain't mad I'm pumped all the new characters look sick I love comics and all of the marvel guys are B.A. Capcom side is sweet too I would like megaman but hey people get mad alot of times cuz their favs ain't in but you have to start somewhere and maybe some of these new guys will fill that role but I remember when no fighting games where coming out it was horrible so I will buy any capcom releases they will make these characters awesome so support capcom so they can make these cuz if you don't fighting games won't come out DLC won't happen and then everyone will really be upset

Blizzard would of been cool. Rocket Raccoon doesn't look all that cool but if he's got a good move-set than I'm ok with it. I'm actually excited about Marvel's selections. I'm very disappointed with Capcom's choices. Aside from Vergil and Strider, the other choices are very bad. If it was me I would of picked:
Strider, Jin Saotome, Megaman, Jon Talbain, Blade (Red Earth), Ryu (Breath of Fire).

I agree with Maximillian, if they keep making fighting games that have something to offer, I'm going to keep buying them. Well all you got to do is wait for the next update, and if one doesn't come out, you win either way simply because the Vanilla version is going to get cheaper down the rode. So those who are complaining for a new version are pretty lame while all they have to do is wait and get the next version.

I'm not so sure about the "RR being the new top tier thing". I mean it's certainly possible and I hope it ends up happening, I'm just worried about how when asked about Phoenix Wright Seth said something like "He'll either be really really bad or really really good."
I am not happy about the pricing but I can't hate the game. Currently im trying different characters that is different from my Task, Hsien, SHuma team and I can't break from it. IT's my main team thats got me far but everytime I break off I get bored.
I have a High Tier team but it's boring everyone plays with them. I don't get the same satisfaction beating people with Pheonix or Wolverine than with Hsien Ko or Shuma.
Im very interested in Dr. Strange and Ghost Rider. I love Strider but as usual everyone is gonna pick Strider so he's gonna get old real fast. Im excited for the game but the price could be reasonable.
Lol. It never really occurred to me, but Rocket Raccoon does indeed look like he'd fit in Star Fox. The joke about a Star Fox character in MvC makes me think, that at least Fox McCloud would likely transition well into a theoretical Nintendo VS Capcom.

vid was cool but I have to say i disagree with the its cool for capcom to make crap games and then sell updates (or other things that were promised in the game) as a whole new package. Even though they annouced MvC3 a year before they released it it was being worked on before that. I think buying these "new games" isnt helping the fighting game community either basically we are saying its ok to make crappy games because new is better.

I like to support capcom and the FGC, but I don't have money to throw away on alpha/beta versions of games. Back when you waited 8 years for video games to come out, they put enough planning, consideration and effort into making the game worth lasting the 8 years.
Yes, these games are awesome. Yes, they are visual feasts. That doesn't mean they can skimp on quality and content so they can resell it in 5 months. I can understand appreciating having new things, but this is not one of those times that are worth that. It's a shame you all are eating it up like you are.
