eltwopee has uploaded a FT5 match between KBeast (EVO 2010 TvC 2nd place) and AG|Marlinpie. The C.Viper mirror match is real heated, especially when backed up by Magneto's damaging DHC options.

Viper's new move is an optic-blast like special. You hold down a button to charge it and release it to fire, similar to buster. Goes full-screen and is fast but can be ducked by most characters.

She had it in the Evo build.

I think I heard she is gonna have a similar move to the Optic blast. Shooting from her glasses. I remember hearing that in the Evo stream. Or was it somewhere else?....EITHER way that's what I heard take it with a grain of salt cause I don't even have definite proof.

Even I the Dark Phoenix is impresssed by this C.Viper she may move up a tier closer to me and Logan

Surprised guys like Marn, Flash Metroid or Yipes and Justin didn't pick Viper up. Her damage output is pretty good.

Her lvl 3 IS U2 minus the dive kick. Unless you mean that she should have a different hyper that does use the dive kick, because I agree.

I Like playing a character that is good but not popular like C.Viper. I hope she doesn't get as common as Magneto, Dante, Wolvie, etc...

Also it's nice when people don't know the match-up due to her not being so common

Viper is broken as hell but she has high ass execution. I know up in Norcal KBeast Crisis and Myself where the only Viper players. I drop and pick her back up on occasion.

Yea Vipers def. Top 5 IMO, she's insane. Its just that no one uses her cause she requires a good amount of execution.

Why pick her up if you can spam 50/50's with Wolverine all day and do day 1 combos that do as much DMG as her 30000 hit combos lmao.

But yea some more pros need to pick her up man cause she's insaannnee. THB I dont see why she would need a beam type move, her ground pounds already do the trick lol. -Fears her-

Yeah, I think more people will pick up Viper for sure.....she would already be incredible in this game a few years from now, and all she is getting is buffs in Ultimate....They gave her an optic blast hahahaha

Honestly I'm not quite sure what Capcom is doing with the balancing....I feel like they aren't trying to make everyone equal, even if they are trying to make more viable characters. Doom got major buffs, Strider seems great, Viper got major buffs....All of these characters require more skill then Wolverine or Wesker, so I really wouldn't mind as much if they ended up on the top. Amaterasu can stance change in the air now too and has received no nerfs, that was an interesting decision too, but I like Amy so Im happy.

I like how they're making it more zoner-friendly, most of the zoner characters would get blown up so badly by the likes of Wolverine, Wesker, Dante, etc.
