Well, I've mentioned him now, thanks to Error1 for the infinites, and the tool-assisted combos in the vid, that weren't done by hand.

Man that game was broken, but we do get cool things like this from it.

Error1 was mentioned in the credits for choreographing the scenes.

If you watch the making of video, you'll see that Error1 made sure that the combos were viable by tool-assisted combos and then Desk did the videos used in the game by hand.

Vanilla was the best. It had Championship Mode.

Absolutely crazy. Great stuff.
Why am I getting nostalgic about a game from 2008?

Gen focus taunt/stance change canceling... wtf

The console version was released in 2009 . So it's not like VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY Old you know . The arcade version had no Sakura or Fei long.

All this does is make me remember the absolute crapstorm everyone made when they discovered unblockable ultras.

Gen's focus cancel tech is still in Arcade Edition. The trick is that you have to focus absorb the attack on the first possible frame, after that you have quite a bit of leeway to input the change of stance. Actually, you can do this with any character, but for anyone other than Gen you need to cancel into taunt.

i want my original gen back.. and i mean the mk-hand combo, good EX oga, hp-gekiro working on the full cast, low jumparch. he's okay in AE, but super brought me too far away from him..

BUT really great video! i didnt know chun had 2 loops then. seth super looked sick.
and i still don't understand why hitting the opponent after KO was removed..

Error1 don't need to do TACVs anymore, he now has DACVS!

Man I miss time attack and survival mode on SF4 but I miss the shakey camera the most, when you hit somebody the camera shakes and make you feel like you actually hit them pretty hard instead of a dead calm camera.

I just played some vanilla again for nostalgic reasons. Oh my god, that was some broken sh*t.
