Can you stop blowing these up? Say its an interview with Nitsuma or something. Don't make the title be that the producer said Megaman X would be the best fit, when he is clearly apprehensive of saying anything because X didn't make the game.

If your going to use the argument of "it wouldn't make any sense" as a way of saying why Megaman.EXE should not be in this game, (a game that defies all logic and realism by the way) then you my friend, need to invest in some serious mental help.

I think Megaman.EXE would be a great edition to UMvC3. A lot more than any other type of Megaman in my opinion.

Theres a good chance Megaman will still be in the game due to fanboys complaining (Ironic since no one played him) and Capcom loves money + new versions, so we will def. be paying for a new version that includes megaman in 2012! :D

They should hold off X especially if they want to release MvC4 in a few years. If Ultimate is truly the last iteration to the series than X should definitely be added as DLC. This is a huge opportunity for Capcom to milk us dry. I'm all ready Capcom, grab me by the nipples and start milking.

Disappointed they didn't represent and add in Rikuo(DS), Blade(Red Earth), and Ryu (Breath of Fire).

Anyway I wouldnt mind X in the game that way all the mega man fans can stfu. I was hoping for at least 10 different characters that ain't make it and will just accept the fact that it most likely won't happen or they'll just take my money next summer in another version of mvc3.

@61: He asked the battle director how hard it'd be to put Zack & Wiki in the game, and he said he'd be hard to implement because he doesn't come from an action game, but if he was told that the character was being implemented, he'd make it work. I'm sure that's exactly what he thought about Phoenix Wright. While I'm sure he has some input in decisions for character selection, he certainly doesn't have the final say on anything. You're pointing out logical inconsistencies that don't actually exist.

Enough with the, "Phoenix Wright isn't an action game character". I'm sure there are a number of reasons why Zack & Wiki didn't make it in, not just what Niitsuma said. First thing that comes to mind is demand and popularity. I'm against Wright's inclusion, but he is/was one of the most demanded characters for the game. Just because all the reasons weren't listed, doesn't mean they don't exist. Let Capcom make their game; if you don't like it, you don't have to play it.

Mega Man X is a no brainer. Many of my friends who play MvC are fans of Mega Man X, most of us have more fond memories of that Mega Man than Mega Man EXE.

A problem I have with Megaman EXE is what he is, a computer chip if im not mistaken, how would he function in the MvC universe? Mega Man X is a more obvious choice, sorry guys.

Make it happen Niitsuma, he makes a great alternative to that bastard Zero.

Nah, we already have Zero as the X series rep, they should have Mega Man rep the Zero series (as in Copy X). At this point I dont think there ever was any restrictions for characters from a particular series (with 3 RE4 characters, 2 DMC3 characters, and 4 SF4 characters), so having 2 X characters isnt much of a problem. A few more bad guys wouldn't hurt though. At least with Ultimate, Capcom would have more than just Wesker on their side.

fuk .exe! svc chaos was already tainted with. the fag version of zero & tvc with the fag version of megaman and the regular mm has been done to death! Megaman X needs to make an appearance in a fg already!!!

@#73 Megaman.EXE can actually be brought into the "real" world by merging with his operator but this was in the anime rather than actually in the games.
I'd be happy if any megaman were to be put into UMVC3 but I'd prefer .EXE over X

I'd be fine with any MM, but I'd prefer unused material. That's why I'm not too happy with all the TvC ports and chun/akuma. Viper is fine but not 1 sf3 character. I think twelve or a playable gill would have worked best out of that cast. I guess they needed to include most of the top mvc2 characters to satisfy the tournament crowd.

MM X probably will be DLC...and he will form a trio with Zero and Tron.

I never played any of the MM games outside of the originals on the NES, so I could really care less whether or not he made it in.

The irony is that they have 4 Street Fighter games and they skipped part 3. That shows the level of disrepsect thay have for the series. But SF3 was repped in TvC so it's not too bad.

@79 He can come to the real world by inserting himself in a copybot. Which allows him to roam the world freely. Only downside is it takes up a lot of energy so he can't stay on long. And he is also limited. As in he can't do what he can do in the Net. But then again.....Phoenix Wright.

X is not coming to DLC.Jill and Shuma are the only DLC characters which is just a way of capcom ripping us off because they could easily include them in UMvC3,but they wont.Its like i have to pay extra to complete a game that i already payed full price for.X will be saved for even another version of MvC3.
