@2 He explained why. It is part of the kara-cancel. The game wont let you simply do short short super, it has built in mechanic to purposely stop you from doing that. But the game does allow you to continuously chain shorts into each other. So he kara-cancels a third short into a super which tricks the game into letting you do a short short super.
I love doing the super cancel in HD Remix. Just wish Sagat had one too lol but then he'd be broken lol
