for this half azz game it should be free you only gonna play it one or 2 times onto then i wait for super mvc3 or whatever they gonna called it i just stay playin with my friends as we wait for it -_- when it does come out am sellin this peace of crap and gettin the better version which we should have gotten in the fkin first place am still find it fuunt no new outfits wtf!??!!
So all of us PSN users might get to try this next week if we're lucky? Great...
I get crazy matches with the cpu in training mode and its free
The second PSN is up again, I'll go for it. Not the Shadow Battles. Not interested in paying anything to play 'em. I think I can survive a week without the PSN, hahaha. Some guy was like, "I'd rather pay $60 (or whatever) a year than not play online for a week!" Dude. Come on. Go out into the sun. You will survive.
I just hope no one's credit card info or any other really personal info was acquired. :(
Wow it looks like Edgeucator was featured on shadow battles
*looks at the big mouths*
lol
I only wished they made them free instead of having us pay a dollar for each Shadow Battle.
But the challenge involving to win without losing a single partner is a serious challenge.
If only someone would make a fighting game with a ridiculous amount of fun and unique challenges along with a bunch of other features like alternate costumes and a good story mode right out the box instead of trying to nickel and dime their fans at every turn.
Oh wait.
Is anyone else slightly irked that the events aren't retroactive?
And here's to hoping PSN members' personal information isn't as "compromised" as Sony says they are.
@MALDA
Not yet. They said it should be online sometime this week. I doubt that will happen though lol
More on the PSN issue:
http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/20...
"Sony has finally come clean about the "external intrusion" that has caused the company to take down the PlayStation Network service, and the news is almost as bad as it can possibly get. The hackers have all your personal information, although Sony is still unsure about whether your credit card data is safe. Everything else on file when it comes to your account is in the hands of the hackers."
Take care guys, if you have a credit card tied to PSN best de-authorize it now and take steps to getting the card number changed.
If it is anonymous that was behind it, they've made multiple statements claiming that they aren't attacking patons of sony, only Sony's mainframe.
Apparently it's someone else hang on a second here we go had to look for it got this from SRK
I guess with the psn you get what you paid for. Good thing I prefer paying for quality. Btw shadow mode sucks! I'm still shocked people are buying these. I bet they figured out that they could make more money off shadow modes than dlc costumes and characters. All they have to do is random select and think of a team name and Bam! We rich biatch!
@18
Yeah if only! And if that game were to have lots of gore and some sort of 'death finish' thing I'd buy it.....
Yet another shadow battle team with Morrigan in :(
Lolz at PS3 owners.. as ive always said, its free for a reason... lol
I like the arcade events because they add an extra challenge and replayability to the mode.
These online events are just f'ing lame.
@CapcomSucks
Amen!
I can't understand three things:
1. People bash MVC3, something that's less garbage comes out with more content out the box (MK), then people defend MVC3 and bash MK with no good arguements without spending more than a few rounds (if any) with game THEN have the nerve to act like they mastered the damn game and have a %^&$ing opinion.
2. MK (if you played) is a better overall. Get the baby batter out your eyes and see the truth people. MK ALWAYS was in Capcom's shadow but it's 2011. Things are way different.
3. MVC3 is fun and balanced but the mechanics break the damn game. Fact. MK gives you a chance to escape combo strings (no instant kills here even with/without meter), no stupid failsafe comeback gimmicks (X-Ray is far from failsafe), no input shortcuts...the list goes on.
I'm not butthurt but the lack of intelligence, knowledge, and rampant favoritism towards anything Capcom is just stupid. Face it scrubs, MK killed MVC3. Now excuse us non-biased folks while we go enjoy 2v2 tag matches and spectator mode.
I agree, MK9 killed MVC3. I think if it was a1v1 game MK9 would of gotten stale pretty quick. But now they have tag team mode and online features like spectatormode that will keep this game competitive and fun for quite some time. Still i think ssf4 owns all fighting games, and when AE comes out MVC3 and MK9 wont be played as much. MVC3 more then MK9. Guess iL wait for a new MVC3 edition to actually take this game seriously. The only good thing i got out of this game was Jill and Shuma. I got Kratos for MK9 so im happy. Cant wait for new dlc content to come out for MK9. Maybe new fatality s. friendships, costumes and maybe new fighters and modes.
@44 exactly. I play all fighting games, I love SSF4, and I was very excited about MvsC3 but it failed. I've got 1000gp on it and to be honest haven't had the urge to play it since. Having bought MK without really knowing and playing the previous games, I enjoy it, allot more than I enjoy MvsC3 because it's full of decent things to keep me busy and entertained.
I like the team names and team members. Still not buying them though, hopefully we get something more awesome soon.
