i hope they will change the life bars and meter bars. for some reasons the life bars hurt my eyes when i look at it.

yeah, color scheme is horrible. Couldn't be worse.

i dont mind the design of the life bar, but the inside colour of bar is too darkish redish, especially as you take more damage. if they make it yellow it would be cool, cuz as of now its kinda hard to destinguish between the frame and the life itself.

yeah, I was just about to say that myself. But these are definitely only placeholder GUIs so that they can playtest. They'll be changed before release, I guarantee.

My only problem with the lifebars is that they're not up high enough and the action on screen gets in front of them quite often. They should shrink the character portraits a bit and bump up the lifebars. Aside from that, I think they look stylish.

everyone is right, the life bars need to be more distinguishable and easy to see the life juice or temp hit damage in them.

come on y'all......are you y'all really...over looking a game because of Lifebars? you know Ono is going to give you the HUD position option like in Sf4 Series. and it's still in beta. just enjoy the pics mayyyyyne!

in sf4/ssf4 you can bump up the bars (both life and super) in the options menu. i think you can put them as high so that they are completeky gone. i bet you'll be able to do that in this one too

yeah, just tested it. you can turn em both off or adjust them as you wish. this hud system is sure to make its way to sfxt

One thing that people are missing is that the screens looks better than previous one's. how you ask? because that blurry inky outline that was in all the screen shots aren't there. Now the models still have that ink touch but if you go look at older screens you can tell what i'm talking about I can't really explain it well here.

I kinda like these health bars too. Kind of weird thing to nitpick at. Also I might be the only person who thinks that this game looks great, I like how bright and vibrant it is. It's so colorful, I love it!

Yeah, lifebars kinda look too beta-ish in my honest opinion.

darko_p86, I'm well aware that you can do that in SF4, however even if SFxT has that option it's only a quick fix for me only.
If I go to a tourney or a friend's house to play the game, the life bars would be in their default position (or whatever my friends set it to). That's why I'd prefer that Capcom make the adjustments themselves and have those adjustments be the standard look.
Either way though, it's no big deal; just a personal preference.

The gfx reminds me of Killer Instinct 2... or in short it looks like crap at the moment.

gotta disagree on that one. if the sfxt character models would look anything like mvc3, you wouldn't have even half of the hype that this game brought on so far.

I am really looking forward to SFxT, but the quality of the graphics fails to impress me and the choice of color scheme is strange to say the least. Well, it is a work in progress so lets see how it shapes over time.

I agree with chickenwings, as it is a new title it would have been nice to see some combination of hand drawn textures on top of the 3d models to give it a 3s look. Not a 3s fanboy, but the graphics are awesome in that title.

MCV3 is the best looking fighting game today hands down!!

some nice 3s like sprites would have been nice but I guess that's asking too much.

Theres no way that u actually think sf4 models look good. Just compare sf4s ryu/chun to mvc3s. Its almost laughable how bad they look in sf4. Ryus a cave man and chun(Aswell as he other female characters) are just terrible. Just look at nina's model and u can already see how uneven she is. She has these big thighs but a flat butt and that makes no sense. Its like haveing 25 inch arms and no chest(basicly guiles sf4 model), its not only impossible it just looks bad and in motion it looks even worst. Yea i understand that it isnt real and thats the style but cmon now, mvc3 did it right.

If they would have made it look like 3s people would have been mad the tekken characters are hand drawn. You have to think about things like that and not only that the game wouldn't even have many characters were they to go 2D like sf3. Just look How long it took to do KOF XII characters and how small BB character roster is to have an idea of how long it would take. I know 3s does look good but yes you are asking to much.

The'll most likely give the option to move the health bars up more so people can play with out distractions.

the ppl complaining are the same ppl that are going to get the game on the 1st day.

They already made a move its called sf4 AE and then there's a super mvc3 coming as well as 3s. Besides MK9 is almost old news and the game just came out after evo don't expect it back there again lol.

here you go with the complaining...you DO realize that the game is still in beta? Give it some time! the game isn't coming out til next year! so that means they still have a little under a year to complete the game. smh.
