The latest episode of Marvelous Adventures has been posted by the Cross Counter crew. Here's the official blurb.
In this episode... Gootecks and Mike Ross have finally upgraded the Fisher Price Internet (TM) at Cross Counter Studios. Will it make any difference? The answer may astonish you!

I thought they were joking when they said they're going to quit the show now...

Like fisher price toys are the imitation of real things, fisher price internet would be the imitation of the real internet in reference of how bad the connection when playing online.
Anyone else get excited whenever you hear the subtitle of the episode while watching the video? (In this case "Unstoppable")
Its like hearing the main character of the movie yells out the name of the movie in the heat of the moment. So corny yet so awesome!
I wish I could understand what's fun about MK. I'm not freely hating, I just really don't like the game mechanics and feel. The movement espetially, and how all characters share the same normals (not all normals but still). The characters themselves are dope though. Ermac and Jax are bawss. Ermac's the only character I enjoy actually. Anyway I'm glad a crap ton of people like the game, I guess it's good for the community.
(People buy it = fun, not much more to understand)
@Bibuki
at first i didn't like it either because i didn't get the mechanics and how everything works, but now i'm gettin the hang of it and it feels much better now that i manage 30-40% combos and stuff...the only thing i still don't like is the jumping kick it looks so stiff and weird but hey that's MK...other than that i think the game is very stylish and the movements look very fluid, (like you said ermac for example has some of the best lookin normals)
i'm playin smoke atm. he's boss, next i'll learn cyber sub zero or ermac
I thought I heard someone else talking in the background other than Mike and Gootecks. At first, I was like "are they running another T.V. off camera with some show on? Then they confirmed it at the end with the question haha. Anyway, those are the same people I have to tolerate online. Win or lose, they'll have to say something negative or something to insult you. I turn off my message display option just to avoid reading their childish comments. Once awhile, I go and empty in inbox.

Well everyone air attacks, and default crouching attacks all share just about the same animations. But this time around just about everyones standing attacks have some good variety, which i think in the long run would be the attacks most used. Seeing how alot of em can hit low medium and high.
while the normal similarities between the characters are more noticeable in MK its basically the same thing in SF, sweeps are universal, favorite poke button MK(standing or crouching), jabs and Crouch LKs as examples.
Main thing i like about the game like most MK games is the offensive nature of it. All normals cause chip damage and what not, so turtlers wouldnt get away with trying to block all day. The wide variety of special moves. And a roster in which i dont hate anyone and wonder why they was put in.
Hmmm I look forward to how the game will develop. I probably won't play it much though, because I'm too retarded to be able to play fighting games that are too different at the same time (I keep pressing away to block, as well as trying to block in the air haha screw my brain).
The characters look amazing I gotta admit design-wise (except liukang hahaha), and I hope Yipes commentates on that game often, with the xrays and fatalities and all that good stuff, there's potential for more legendary quotes right there.
would you guys watch these episodes if they were a webseries on g4 or gametrailers with mk sf and mvc all in one with special guest stars (daniel boon, seth, jwong, clock, and other pros and other industry bigwigs) ? idk just a curious question, b/c i think it would be brilliant!

well more than one fighting game all in one, as opposed to s4 being designated only to excellent adventures or marvel only being in M.A., because i know a lot of people want them to do MK9 and bring back sf and a lot of people seem to like the show, and if it was backed by a studio giant like NBC (who owns G4) or gametrailers (who's owned by spike) would you watch it as a webseries? im guessing your answer is yes. i was just curious about the community feedback
gooteck's face priceless XD and yes the book is good oh lord the book is good lmao

Well yes, I'd watch it, as long as it stayed as a *free* web series and there wasn't any kind of censorship or interference from those big studios' part, i.e., let Mike and Gootecks have absolute creative freedom over the show. However, we all know that's pretty naive thinking. First thing G4 or Spike are gonna try to do is "improve" the show to "appeal to a wider audience" or some BS like that. Plus, aside from slightly better production values (which for this kind of show isn't really that important) I don't see any other real benefits. So no, I'd rather have the show stay the way it is now.
I was wondering what the last minute of the video was going to be, I was not disappointed with the outcome! That salty rage was very funny.
Why the hell do they keep starting the episodes mid match?
Glad they finally started winning consistantly.. But i cant wait for them to dump this broken scrub friendly game for SSFIV AE
Finally something to watch, Im so bored since the PSN is down xD
