Through carefully timing, Doom is able to 'stack' hidden missiles. This does have practical applications but I was mostly interested in this glitch because it allows you to actually crash MvC3. You won't be able to pause+re-start or even hit the guide button. Your console just stresses out and gives up.
The easiest way to do this is to hold back and hit H. Then, just as Doom's hand comes back after clicking his fingers (to fold his arms), hit H again. You'll know it has worked if the missile launcher on the ground appears to remain out. Then, at any point, mash H and you'll send out all of the missiles you have stored.

I guarantee you Capcom will be like: "Desk GTFO. Who the he'll is gonna stack up or let someone stack up that many missiles??"
I'd be surprised if they actually try to get this fixed because a patch for something like this would be a LOT harder to put together than the other stuff.
So did Capcom know about this glitch before release?.....Nah I don' think so
And this is why I laugh when people say MK can't be as good as a Capcom game, if this is what's setting the bar.

I wonder why everyone in this site is so desperate with the fact that MK9 crushed every fighting game made up to now on this generation.
I know the answer of course, but it's still funny how they try to point and come up with every kind of word, pointing their finger at MK9 fans, when the game quality speaks for itself.
I love SF but the new MK is too damn good and superior to deny it. Fact.
@25
Meh, MK games never caught my attention, it's all a matter of preference. What I dislike are those who ship the hell out of a game in a website full of people who really DON'T care it.
If you like MK so much, go to a MK fanpage and fap it to Cyber Sub-Zero.
As far as I'm concerned this isn't a glitch, missiles are SUPPOSED to blow things up -in this case the game-; the missiles are functioning just fine XD
This is what happens when you accept mediocrity. If the community doesnt speak out more, Street Fighter x Tekken will end the same way... Good but could have been better..
@38
Really, now?
Is that really all you have to say to me?
MY preference is YOUR business?
Is *MY* preference *ANYBODY'S* business?
I do not like MK games, WHAT is so hard to understand? The characters are cool and all, but the fighting style is not my preference. If you guys like MK, and like discussing about it, go here:
They have Forums and Chats there, all for your MK needs. You're wasting your time here, kids.
People that jump all over Desk's private parts the second he makes another video demonstrating just how much time he has on his hands are significantly more annoying than MK9 fanboys, methinks.
MK only exists because 12 year olds were blown away by fatalities.
I don't way people always have to bring up MK9 here. It like there just trying to start something.IMHO MK9 to me pretty much ties up with MvC3 (SSF4 in first) mainly because (to me) it just feel like your just typing in cheat codes the entire fight. But thats just me.
for those not keeping up with stuff on forums...all of these glitches desk shows on video have been found way before he posts up these videos. it is not something new that only he found out. i'll give him credit for making these videos but thats about it
Dang... my god. That's some serious glitch. Desk is having a field day finding these glitches. Wow.
@47
One who calls others weak are often weak themselves.
Plus, it's the internet, so you can think however you want,it won't change how ignorant you sound in provoking a pointless argument.
"You can't fix ignorant, but you can point the lemmings in the right direction...off a cliff."
www.kamidogu.com is your cliff, have fun.
It is funny how everyone is talking about the fatalities in MK9, they aren't even discussing game strategy, even the MK9 strategy guide is ass. How about make a game that will leave a mark other than having people talk about Noob Saibot's fatality, that is one sure way to make it to Fox News, maybe it was their plan all along. I really don't see why this is on EVO, will they disable blood, not allow fatalities, because of sponsors. Somehow loli fighters with a great fighting engine is unacceptable, but ripping a person in half is.
I love how people are going batsh*t over this, and going "SZOMG MK9 IS BETTAR CUZ DEY DUN HAZ DIS!" and stuff.
When:
1, this little glitch is very impractical in an actual match.
2, there are MANY games that have this same sort of problem and for the same reason
3, MK would most likely have a case like this, if it had to deal with the same circumstances (having to process all this stuff at once, causing the crash)
4, they're lap-dancing a fighting game series that only just NOW got a legitimately good game in it's franchise, while SF/Capcom fighters have been legitimately good for the past 20+ years.
Just because ONE game is now good, doesn't excuse the MK franchise's 20 years of absolute garbage, folks.
fhuck desk 4 ruining all games. seriously..... just..... eff him

You're right, but that's how it goes. Today's hero remembered, yesterday's hero forgotten.
Desk is making Capcom look like a bunch of clowns right now with all these glitches. I'm not surprised why people are so angry at $$F4/mvc3. Fans need to speak out and get Capcom to step their game up or otherwise they'll just keep producing this kind of crap. I like Capcom and it hurts me to say that but its true :(
#58:
You're making it sound like SSF4 had problems like MvC3 did. Last I checked, the only problem SSF4 had was the Guy crouch-throw combo glitch. The Fei Long-Juri loop wasn't realy a big deal seeing how at the time, both characters weren't played too much (especially in that specific matchup).
As for SSF4 AE, I highly doubt the game is "unbalanced" as people are making it out to be. Much like anything on the internet, people are going to blow it out of proportion and make something small seem like a big deal.
And once again, you have to remember that these glitches that Desk does, nobody in their right mind would have EVER done these circumstances if he hadn't said anything about them. All of them are so situational and impractical, a player would have to go completely out of their way to get it done.
Would any of us ever have thought of doing a glitch with Sougenmu, or the Spencer grab-Hyper glitch, if he hadn't pointed it out? No.
I am 100% certain, something like these would have never been seen until at least 5-7 years after the game's release, by natural occurrences.
Desk obviously goes at great length to basically try each and every possible outcome of anything, to see these sort of things. But the thing is, if he didn't, NOBODY would have ever reached them by a natural matchup.
A.Who'd be stupid enough to just sit back and let doom Mash out that many?
B.It requires the strictest of timing, so against someone online you're f***ed and offline I doubt someone unless they just sit back there and play with themselves or you "wanna show a friend a neeat trick" would EVER let you do this
C.it takes a good long while to get a long enough loop going..
Because when most games have 1000s and 1000s of things going on at one time, they won't crash, slow down, or even freeze the slightest. Right guise? So a crap megaton of missles in a fighting game won't effect anything right? Because we all know how this game works right?
Lets think about this for a second, SFIV have been around a year now and on his channel (and on youtube) you see more MVC3 glitches then SSFIV or even MK9 (Demo included). Now the question is does he takes the same amount of time to find these glitches on the other 2 games as well?, if so then that in itself says a lot about the quality of these games.
MANDINGO was trolling hard. he made it way too obvious at times
#65 well, i understand the difference between these games, MVC3 being the most hectic and thus more difficult to keep the bugs out, but there is something called Standards which by looking at your comment is a forgotten word among Capcom fans.
No,because there are plenty of bugs in EVERY single game. You can't find a game without bugs and glitches, hell, MvC2 lasted so long because of glitches. What I don't understand is why people are going crazy over possibly a total of 20 bugs/glitches that people have found, most are impractical. And atleast Capcom is taking the time and effort to FIX said glitches, were other companies will just let them sit there. I have my standards, but trashing a game over a few impractical bugs isn't really going to kill the game.
It just seems a little silly to call the game trash when we only have Desk being clever enough to find most of these issues. (Though I know someone else beat Desk to the punch on this one on the forums somewhere)
If 1,000's of people were finding these issues I would agree. However, he's a clever guy and he's pinpointing these bugs. It's not YOU guys finding them, so it seems a little out of place how you guys are basically bagging on the developers of the game (which you are probably still playing religiously anyway) when you have no talent of your own to use as a standard when calling it trash. I don't think most of the people on this threat *could* find one solid issue in most of the games you play without looking one up in a forum.
Wow! what a great excuse you make there ass kisser. Whether I have the ability or not to find the bugs and glitches are not the problem here, for God sake! use your senses dude.
There's no need for marvel bashing or mk bashing. I own SSF4, MVC3, AND MK9, I love all 3 games. BUT, I WILL say this, I do believe that MK9 has set the bar high for future fighting games simply because IT HAS SO MUCH AWESOME STUFF TO DO IN IT!!! So much unlockable content and secrets, the awesome (albeit annoying with their stupid two on one battles and OP bosses) story mode, king of the hill, etc. Marvel 3 comes NO WHERE CLOSE to offering that much content ALREADY ON THE DISC. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an MK fanboy, I freakin grew up on SF, but I feel that my 64 bucks was well spent on MK, and wasted on an incomplete game like MVC3. Capcom needs to step their game with SF x Tekken. But what am I saying? I'm gonna buy it anyways ;D
Thank You #75 illness690 for that excellent post and making the point that much clearer.
Strider you were talking about glitches, now you moved your point on content?w Wut? And like I stated before, they have so much content because in retrospect, in terms of gameplay, it isn't touching Street Fighter or Marvel. and siting the bar high with extra content in game while having lacking gameplay? I'll take less content and deep gameplay then More content then shallow gameplay.
@InitialR: Excuse for neglecting to mention this, but the deep, slick combo system of MK9 is what drew me to the game in the first place ;)
Eh, I wouldn't know, this is the first MK game I've ever played, and I like the gameplay a lot, it's faster than SF, but just as deep to me. But you seem like a fanboy, so it seems that there is no point to sense to you. Fanboyism..smh.
And to add on to that, MK9's gameplay must be deep if they're putting it in the next EVO tournament.
Nah i' not a capcom fanboy, Just not a fan of MK, it is game that was built and hyped from controversy and gore. MK games ALAWAYS get high scores, but they are forgotten so quickly. Hell i'll play tekken or Soul Caliber before SF or MvC because i'm more of a 3D fighter type of guy. But people saying this will set the bar for fighting games all because of extra content hiding its shallow gameplay? I don't think so.
I actually don't care for the gore or fatalities in the game, which is why I never do them. The devs claimed that the violence was gonna be more serious and realistic this time around, but to me when you can rip out someone's spine and beat them with it that just makes it laughable and extremely UNrealistic. Gratuitous violence is what kept me FROM mk all these years, but seeing gameplay vids of all those cool looking combos and actual competitive play made me change my mind about MK. I wish there was a way to turn the blood off, but hey, I can deal. I play Tekken as well, used to play Soul Calibur but I stopped after getting bored with the 4th one. Sorry for the fanboy comment, no harm done right? If you play on PS3 hit me up, my username on here is my psnid.
That so call gameplay people adore about SF series, most of it comes from glitches and exploits people discovered themselves through the years, not because of design many of the mechanics people contributed to Capcom was unintended at first.
MVC3 got glitches like any other game, good i understand that, but then add the fact that the online doesn't have spectator mode, the game doesn't call a perfect when it happens, they charge for titles using event modes when on SFIV is free, that Arthus bug that f*cks up the graphics, the online battle miss count problem. Compare this to the problems SFIV and SSFIV had and even if you add up these 2 it won' come close to the problems MVC3 have.
@Strider
That's true, I read up on SF's history, and a lot of the things in the game today are cuz of glitches. That was pretty interesting. MVC3's got issues, major issues, and it definitely isn't worth the 59.99 price tag, especially when they're charging for shadow modes and titles, and 5 bucks for a character....but hey, I still enjoy playing it. Here's to hoping they release more worthwhile things for game down the line, maybe we'll see something at E3, who knows?
I don't either, went it comes to costumes and characters that is. But for shadow mode? for some useless ghost? when a game like Tekken allows you to DL any ghost from any player for free, even FF Dissidia for PSP does this. Even if it is a simple dollar, the problem comes when we the fans make excuses to buy this retarded sh!t, then little by little the thing we supposed to get with the game soon enough they'll be making us pay for them.
MK fans, this is coming from another MK fan; this site is dedicated to SF, MvC3 & other Capcom fighting games. If you want your opinions to be worth something, go to the site that ChunLi mentioned. Otherwise, you'll just be what the internet community calls "trolling". Also, every game ain't perfect. Just about every game's bound to have a few bugs. No such thing as the perfect game. That's why the game'll sometimes prompt you to update the game with a patch. So MK fans, you may go to the site ChunLi metioned earlier. Thank you for your cooperation. IMO, MK's a cool game. What can I say. I'm a fan of fighting games in general. Peace.
I'm wondering something: In the interview Sven had that had the question about them hiring Desk to be QA. He said that while Desk had found a few glitches that weren't known, there were some he hadn't found either (and I know that he didn't find this one - only documented it on YT). My question is this: How many glitches are left to be found by the community that supposedly weren't known?
And I think an even better question in regards to Desk's much-requested future as Capcom QA would be, "Would you hire him if he sent in an application?"
@85 Strider:
Yeah combos and tick throws and such were unintended glitches but Capcom had the good sense to not get rid of them. When you're designing a game like this where there's so many possible actions, glitches are GOING to happen. Guile's handcuffs is another example. But that's life: sometimes unexpected things happen. Credit to Capcom for recognizing a lucky glitch when they see it and incorporating it into the design. They really played with the idea in Alpha 2 and 3 but they saw that combos taken that far are too much, and they scaled it back a good bit. It's that kind of willingness to experiment that every company needs.
I like desk, and I like his music. Whether X person found a glitch first or not, he presents it in a way that is easy to comprehend, and not offensive to observe.
That being said, I think he's cool and all, but some people definitely jump on his dick a bit. That is fine, but did you look at his "blog"? His first post is an advertisement for how great he is. I can't even "lol" at that.
MK series has been what it has been for a long time. It's full of odd and funny sounds, jerky and stilted gameplay that often has very little flow (yes I played UMK3). The fatalities are so unnecessary in the games, being not at the end, but AFTER the match.
MK has a following, somehow. If MK is your cup of tea, that's great. If you hate it, that's also fine. I don't care for MK because I think the characters are lame, the art style needs a reboot, and it tries way too hard to be cool with its dark and grungy atmosphere and pretending bad-ass characters. It is a game that NEEDS it flowery X-Ray hits and fatalities to survive. Without all its blood and gore it is not entertaining, and, for what it is, that is acceptable.
I'm still waiting for VF5:FS for console.
Desk just continues to tear this game apart.
