ahahaha that Morrigan player was sad. Did he only have her on his team for Soul Fist assist? That he used ONE TIME? If you're terrible with Morrigan I figure he'd be using Dark Harmonizer. Plus it took him until the end of X-Factor to even attempt Astral Vision. Incredible.
I distinctly remember, prior to the release o the game, alot of people on this site praising this game like it was going to be the greatest game ever. Man, did that switch get flipped so quick! Jumped off the bandwagon like there's no tomorrow!
Personally, I'm still loving this game. Is it as hype to me when MvC2 came out? Probably not, but I attribute that to me being 10 years older then i was with alot less time to devote to this game. I look forward to seeing the evolution of this game though.
@17 true....10 years ago i had so much time on my hands, i was 13 then...you can do the math on how old i am now. i love mvc3, people just be dickriding on the "hate mvc3" bandwagon...you guys who're hating are just little kids with no minds of your own and follow the grain...mvc2 was awesome but only had 10 playable characters, think about it. i love mvc3, they just gotta adapt to it and realize everyone hasto start at square one.

Its not hard to avoid rushdown spidey. I was playing spider-man for a long time trying to get him going, but really he's not a good rush down character. The only time it works is if its the first time seeing it and don't have the scrub mentality to random super all the time.
His range on his ground normals are horrible so if you push block enough he will have to air jump again to get in range. At that time you can either dash under, counter with an AA, call assist, or w/e. But really he is really strong in the air and I wouldn't recommend challenging him their.
Instead stay grounded and wait for an opening. A wiffed or blocked heavy or launcher is extremely easy to punish if no assist is blocking him. In that case if your good at blocking its gonna be a long battle because spidey has no real way to expose someone. His low hits are terrible with push block and his overheads have slow start up due to a floaty jump and having to air dash cancel first
this show is funny as hell and gootecks and mike make it entertaining even though they not that good....and that spidey wasn't that good......except fpr the web throw to max spidey otg..which for some reason i can never connect........but his rushdown in the corner wasnt good enuf...i get people in the corner wit spidey and his high low mix is too quick especielly online to block.......L web swing to s to low lmh to l webswing rinse and repeat.....99% of the time i come off wit a combo......sad no one wants to use cool chars cuz of corny teirs and tourney play...Day 1 spidey main ftw!!!

Also, that Spiderman got ripped off, he got low hit on his roundhouse kick which was clearly off the ground. AND THAT"S THE PROBLEM WITH THIS GAME!
I'm fine with combos, infinites and XFactor. BUT FIX THE BLOCKING AND HIT DETECTION. Fundamentals, TVC Team, Fundamentals.
I was fresh out of HS when MvC 2 came out. So I pretty much spent my time with that and college. Now, it's f•cking work, MMA training and family, so my time is pretty limited with games. I do miss the good ole days of not having a whole lot of responsibilities.
Gootecks and Mike Ross reminds me of the Miami Heat... They will squashed less talented players online, but when it comes to experienced players like Marn or anyone that uses the big guns, like Dante and Wesker, they choked everytime.. Love to see them get whoop in these videos..

@18 Casuals will always remain free and easily susceptible to hype, and now they're angry that MVC3 didn't live up to their unreasonable expectations.
What can we do? We'll just continue playing while the scrubs be bad at another game.

I just want to point out that playing that game does not in any way cause additional revenue for the company that made it.
@36 If the game really as crap and broken as alot of scrubs complain it is, then he really shouldn't be playing it, despite that act not giving Capcom any more money. Why would someone who's "obviously right" in calling MVC3 a bad game have bad enough taste to continue playing it?
