Capcom Japan put out a handful of new Street Fighter X Tekken screens, including a shot of the Vs. screen before a fight starts.

Its gonna look stupid if capcom's verison charges for alts(most of them look terrible) and then namco's gives u not only alts but full customization for free.

They really should have made the men look more like women so it looks like your typical anime art style. I'm totally against unique art styles in games. Especially ones that make the characters stand out from each other rather than just look like clones with different hair.

And I agree, it really looks too cartoony, unlike the other Street Fighter games which were gritty and realistic. Remember how realistic Ryu looked in SFA? It was awesome.

Sarcasm aside, Nina's face looks weird and kind of ugly. I'm sure they'll be fixing it... But damn, woman.

Also, I really like the HUD in this game, it's not your typical dull, straight healthbar/super bar combo. And I like that it retains colors other than Red, Orange, and Yellow for a change.

@Avalanche_Jam The character model is what needs work. I think the Twins actually look pretty good in SSF4's artstyle as do a few others like Gen, Guy, and Ibuki. Most of the titular characters, on other hand, could use some work especially Ryu and Ken who are the face of SF. If they were more proportional, a bit more detailed, and Ken were modeled after his SF3 art work then there would be less complaint from me atleast. This is strictly SSF4 tho. I honest don't like the artstyle of SFxTK.

Also, it's actually pretty well known that Eventhubs is the biggest warren of Street Fighter fanboys and naysayers on the internet. If you want to hear about how the newest game coming out sucks so much, and about how Ono eats babies and will eventually cause World War III, come to Eventhubs.

If you want all that, but you want it balanced out by an equally large group of sane people, go to SRK.

There's a reason Marn called it EventScrubs.

85% = Scrubs/Trolls/Fanboys

15% = People with brains

No offense to Catalyst, it's a great news source and all, but most of the people who post here fall far below "great".

I like everything so far with this game, including the possibility of simultaneous four-player gameplay and numerous juggle options reminscent to Tekken.

I cannot vouch for the weaksauce HUD display of the game, however. Also, the crap music for the trailer sounds like the variety that whiny, emo phag kids slit their wrists to.

You're absolutely spot on. There is literally nothing that people won't complain about in the comments section of EventHubs. Even the most basic and positive of news posts will have A-holes in it.

I know SFxTekken is still in alpha/beta-stage. But I actually don't like the current "colorfullness" + "flashy explosions" which pop up after each hit and blocking the view either. The versus screen looks like a low budget B-rated movie DVD-Cover. I hope Capcom changes the SFX visuals to a less obstrusive, more "realistic" level.

new stages and new characters are Additions to the game and thats what we should be paying for not some alts which every one should be getting by just finishing the game or completing a challange
