Events 24 & 25 unlocked for Marvel vs. Capcom 3's Event Mode

A couple new challenges in Marvel vs. Capcom 3's Event Mode were unlocked Tuesday morning. Here's a brief rundown.

Event #24 — Marvel Powered Up
Win an Online match with a team of Marvel characters.
Title unlocked: Hardened Warrior

Event #25 — Ultimate Marvel Powered Up
Win ten Online matches with a team of Marvel characters.
Title unlocked: Playing to Win

no event mode has been regularly updated...and it seems with out notice......just check event mode 1 or 2 times a week and there is usually somethin new

Well, the previous events were pretty easy, but I've only tried one marvel character so far! This could be a challenge.

jeez, capcom. fix the the damn game. we don't care about missions. Fix the game! Fix the game! Fix the game! and put all the ALT outfits already. The game costed a lot of money. It's a pity that capcom had over ten years to make a marvel3 game and they come out with this? jeez. Rip off indeed -,.,- i'm sick of these missions. Add better gameplay and IF there are more characters put them already. This marvel game shows me i should stop being a capcom fan -. - From now on I'll wait until every capcom is finished.

Every Event Mode update has been auto-unlocked when you turn on the game while online. No price required.

As for these two new ones, joy, two more online-only events I won't ever complete. I'm not plugging in my Xbox any time soon.

Ha, I'm the opposite! I don't play any Capcom characters. My team is Taskmaster, Dormammu, Deadpool. For some reason I don't have any interest in any Capcom character whatsoever.

Wait....wtf am i doing here? I got mortal kombat now!! Haha no longer will you f#ck me over capcom with ur sh!tty mvc3 roster and ssfae dlc price!!! I suggest u all listen because in the long run you will have wasted more money unless you dnt mind but i mean come on mk has alternate costumes free!! A good story mode and sh!t loads of stuff other than versus and arcade like some games! Oh well imma enjoy my fatalities with awesome roster and graphics nothing like a reboot but at the same time fresh reboot of mk series UNLIKE SOME GAMES!!!!!!

I'd say MK is more compared to Street Fighter than MVC 3, simply because MK is not a crossover. Unfortunately Capcom is being too expensive here. MK is showing Fighters how it suppose to be done simply because it has lots more content and MORE to offer. I'm glad they're going back to the basics of just SIMPLY unlocking characters and costumes for FREE!!! Then for a bonus, you'll have DLC stuff later.

U can say all you want about mk with their 6 games. First of those games were fun maybe not as competitive but definitley fun . And what matters is mk is out now and better than ever! It accomplished what sf kinda failed to do by putting in the classic fav chhars then more dlc later. Sure sf had the original cast but ssf4 and ssf4 ae both add new chars and content but at a uneccasary price i mean do it right the first time an this problem wouldve been solved a while ago

mk played it safe with the characters everyone grew up with. thats how marvel vs capcom 3 should have been and add the newer fighters as well.

Whateva u have fun with youre lack of content and laggy a$$ mvc3 or continue to pay money for alternates and overpowered dlc chars all that for more than 60$ each.mvc3 was a rushed game and they knew it thats why all these glutches and crap pop out every 2 weeks even after 2 patches there is still more glitches! Ssf4 what cann i say but have fun with your top tier and shoto hordes online in mk all of this is no where to be found so overall im sure capcom jus rapeing you guys up the butt for a sh!t load of supposed free sh!t

Its not a haze dude.ive been dealing with capcoms sf4 for a while dont get me wrong its not a bad game but the dlc and costume prices jus kind but f#cks the sh!t outta me. Then they announce mvc3 i was so happy i was like aw heellll naaawww. Turns out mvc3 sucks major d!ck hard!! Lack of content and terrible roster not even f#ckin megaman made it in!!!! Thats like f#ckin mk without scorpion or sf without chun li!! But guess what back then i was into the hype so much i figured oh maybe theyll add characters later and they did f#ckin shuma gorath and jill!! Who are nowhere at the top of the wanted mvc3 list at all and the more i realize the sh!tty online connection,the supposed good story that seth killian talked about, or the character bios that arent acurate for sh!t!! Like hell chris redfield is stronger than spiderman its absurd! I could go for hours talking about all the f#cked up things in the game but i think i got my point across. Mk is better hands down

wolverine spider man and hulk are used for everything with a marvel logo. of course you got to have those guys but other characters from x-men vs street fighter arent in it like bison and cyclops, as well as mega man and venom from mvc1 arent in it. big names they kept out

NOTHING!! MvC3 has LESS content than ANY game released in the past Decade except KoF12 (The game was ONLY time trial, Vs. and horrible online. PERIOD, no training mode either)

Honestly, how many people really plays those extra games modes after the first two times? The three main modes in a fighting game are ARCADE, VS., TRAINING, and now it seems Online VS. is becoming manditory. You really don't need all that extra crap in a fighting game, because honestly, you really won't be playing that mode after the first month. MK9 has all those game modes to try and hide the fact that its gameplay is extremely shallow, and thats why, nearly ALL of the time, MK games never last long.

mvc3 f*cked up with the char selection..and i love the game and play almost everyday...but venom, megaman, jin , strider(i know copyright), dr. strange ghost rider.....(she hulk has a f*ckin car come flying across the screen when the hyper dont connect??? wheres johnny blazes motorcycle????????). The only way i could understand why they picked the characters they did is for them to tell me themselves and i think they did...and i was still like huh??........i mean i read the secret invasion and i think the skrulls are cool... but no reed rich no johnny....??? iron fist woulda been insane and black panther.....half the roster isnt even that cool...but....i still play and try to beast wit m.o.d.o.k..........

Da f*** we need Capcom for unless they release DLC characters for MvC3"this year".(Besides 3rd Strike on PSN.)
I dunno know bout the brainwashed Capcom fans , but ive got better gaming companys (THAT CAN ACTUALLY【MAKE】 GAMES lol. What the f*** now...) that i could be supporting.

The sweet smell of troll in the morning! As I can agree with you that some good fighting games coming out this year, I, by no means, will be touching MK9 outside the demo. How do we look like retards? How do I not know what i'm talking about? Saying that most of the people is trolling here? Because too me it looks like they are. Megaman was left out, but Ryu is just as icnonic. And who knows, maybe that character that people whine about constantly is going to be the next DLC? So yeah maybe you don't know what YOUR talking about?

Also , @ your 22 , people grew up with Megaman as well , MORE so than they "grew up" with Ryu.Fact.

Look at yourself man jus still in denial. Mvc3 was a rushed game because they didnt want to compete with the release of mk so they sped their sh!t up. I mean the online is sh!tty and thats really the only mode that matters to people nowadays. To comments saying you dont need content its bs. If you dont have xbox live or psn connection all thats left is ai an occasional friends to play against. Mk has the challenge tower and a sttory mode which will take up most of your time for a while. Mvc3 terrible story and there is no versus even against an a.i !!!!! The more you think about it the more of a rip off that game was! They havent announced dlc for any important sh!t that people wanna here mvc3 is overall a sh!tty game! Dnt kno what the comment mk has shallow fight system clearly youre on a different planet mk is fun as hell. Capcom is turning more and more into a kids game for real! Remeber when they had blood in it not heavy but still! Now we got character like hakan,el fuerte and rufus. Smh

Then later on , a little refresh on blazblue followed by namco's new stuff .
