They tried making a game with mostly new characters and it was crap...almost ended the series...it was SF3, thats why they brought SF2 cast back for SF4...better characters, better sales.
ken is such a boreing character. THey should have give him all the stuff he had in alpha like his roll and his command kicks.
Alpha series Ken was awesome that way that player was using juri is sexy.
@6 You have no idea what you are talking about if you think it was SF3 that would've ended the series. If anything, the EX Street Fighter games would've done that by themselves. SF3 wasn't even bad. It just wasn't popular at the time of release. Now SF3 is more popular now then it has ever been, which is why Capcom is revamping the game once again.

i havent seen that ken in so long i forgot what he was like. I liked his alpha 2 verison the best. One of the things that hes really missing sf4 is his knee bash, i played some turbo yesterday and that move makes him alot more threatening up close, something that really makes the difference when compared to ryu.
What you call random I would call on point. I don't think you randomly punish a chicken wing you're waiting for with a fierce thunder knuckle or bait Fei Long's ultra II like that randomly. Too bad he couldn't land the ultra after that.
