A different take on Cammy's design

3D artist Bogdanbl4 via Polycount decided to do a different take on Cammy's traditional design in Street Fighter. In the images below, you'll see the initial concept for his design compared with how Cammy looked in Street Fighter Alpha, along with a few progress shots before doing a paint over at the end. Note, the last image this isn't the final product.

Looks pretty good. Reminds me of the guile and bison renders.
The skirt and high heels are retarded, though. I don't see how that could be practical for combat.

See, this kind of stuff should've been DLC costumes. Something different from what she usually has but still looks cool. Granted, heels aren't practical, but C. Viper fights in heels, she's doing pretty neat. :P

Strangely enough, this actually fits with how Cammy would probably dress. Except the skirt should be a pair of shorts. Who wears a skirt into combat, seriously?

the thing is she's still a female clone/doll of Bison, and her outfit is infact MORE pratcal than her original outfit except in the heels department, it's like changing Blanka to have a normal skin tone and hair color, it's basically just eliminating the unrealistically nature. The only reason why I say the skirt can stay is that even if the Skirt is there it won't get in the way because it will ride up

This would be Reverse JV syndrome since as the series progresses Jill LOST clothing and practical application for her clothing as well as her turning into a dirty blonde in 5. While Cammy is Gaining clothing and practical clothing(Her rank displayed on her arm), items(combat knife, med pouch,ammo pouches).

He should drop the Heels keep the points of the the boots (imagine those digging into you)

(This is hawt. Honestly, I like Cammy's 'Winter' outfit in SSFIV - Capcom/her fans wouldn't approve because it's not focusing on/showing her ass. Don't want to get in too much detail, but it's a wonderful costume and I'm saving it in my collection, lol.)

I've always thought Cammy looked awful (as most female characters in SF unfortunately). But this version looks pretty good. I would've had her knee thingy the same color as her hat though. The white color looks out of place. Anyways...

I think it's funny how some people say the heels aren't practical for combat. Cammy's original outfit is? Also, have you seen any of the female mk9 characters? None of those outfits are even remotely practical for combat, especially MORTAL kombat lol

looks nice but not for fighting. the leotard made sense for cammy because she needed some crazy leg movement to pull of her cannon spike.the heels on the costume are way too high and the skirt is totally unnecessary -_-. add pants and smaller heels (1 inch is good enough) and then we're talking.

Impressive, but if this design WAS in the game, i'm pretty sure everyone would crap all over it, saying dumb stuff like "why cant capcom make good costumes they all suck", and praising any non-official costume.

The painting is awesome, pro-like, but this doesn't look like cammy at all. Cammy's signature look includes those two ponytails, and no high heels. Change those two and then it'll be sweet!

this is good. remember this is a DIFFERENT take on cammy, thats why u got different hair/etc. The model itself is tons better then what we got in sf4 and i wouldnt be surprised if she looks something like that in the tekken verison of sfxtekken game. And for the people saying her cloths are combat worthy, cammys original outfit is more suited for the beach then fighting.
