They need to make a skin patch or downloadable, that gives the choice of the skin of the life and Ultra Bar. I would prefer it at the top, but I would rather have the Super Bar in the segments. Also, I would like a better look at that original character art from the game.
I remember first vids of SFIV looking like this. I wish the actual version of the game had less floaty jumps like this build, then the game would probably have been a lot better; mainly offensively.

On another note, shout outs to button mashing game testers. I guess we all know why MvC3 has so many glitches. Capcom's fine QC/QA team has finally been exposed haha.
Also, did anyone noticed Guile's initial start-up frames for sonic boom? It was like throwing a red fireball with akuma.
I;m feeling like something went wrong after the build, Vipers face got a bit uglier, and Ken and ryu's portraits look a little worse.

I found some other footage from the same event that I used in the latest 3 Green Bars. I really like Ryu portrait art and some of the other UI elements. The reason the gameplay looks so "off" Is because the game is still using 3D collision detection at this early stage. So if the models hit each other thats what registers the hit.
They replaced it with 2D hit boxes which made a huge difference to the way the game felt. So it essentially made the engine like all the other SFs before it, just with a new posh 3D skin :)
From what I remember, they also had a different announcer before Vanilla came out, and swapped that announcer out with the one we had, which now is replaced by the F-Zero X announcer lol.
I could've sworn Catalyst posted something up way back when about this too, and it had some old footage too, like Abel's ultra 1 being nothing but kicks and then the slam rofl.
every time i here them mention inputs i cringe. Reversals should always require good timeing and execution. ANd then u always have the option to BLOCK. I hope to god sfxtekken does away with the shortcuts and tunes the game so that its more offensive then sf4.

the shortcut is what makes the window feel so much bigger. THink about it, in earlier sf games u would use negative edge/panio inputs to get a better chance at a reversal(in ryus case 6 button inputs) but now u can mash like a retard and get so many more chances to get it. THe current reversal window with a way tighter dp motion(ie a real dp motion) would make ALL of the difference in the world.

Also, "man jaw" is hardly appropriate. That's what a humans face looks like. The Alpha versions pointed face looks alien like and ridiculous in comparison.
They rightfully fixed up her face for the final build.

i agree. if the jumps stayed less floaty it definitly would be alot better and way less flow chart kens doing that floaty jump roundhouse into low roundhouse. just saying lol.
ken and ryu portraits look ugly in current versions they shoulda kept prerelease versions.
c vipers face looks better in prerelease version.
overall id say this version has that "heavy" look and feel

it could be 10 frames if u cant do dps it wouldnt come out. thats the point behind my post. The reversal window has a big effect but when u take away the execution to the point where i can just mash them out a 1 frame window wouldnt make a difference.
goddamn viper had huge lips. I dont think her boobs got smaller, just that tie got bigger.
Ken's art was so much better. And his costume colors looked vibrant like they should be. Not the washed out colors we got on the final build. It pisses me off. I loved the yellow Ken and with this washed out bullsh-t the yellow color looks terrible in SSFIV.
