He has a guoken type dash, looks like Akuma, shoots hadoukens + uses shoryukens, and has two of third strike Akuma's ultras.....original...

So from what i can tell ER is still better, and as an overall looks better. Im assuming, yes ass out of u n me, but i think that if you're not my lvl or higher Oni will seem low to mid tier in ur hands. He's alot more intricate than Evil, also his dmg output fail considerably in comparison with ER. Im going to be audaciously, intrepid, and say that Evil Ree-yu is the best Shoto, n @ 10 its ok you all can stop pretending to like MvC3. Oh, n i have a pp5200+ bp7000+ Ree-yu.

His dash attack is different in that it's a a slash and possible to cross up use on a ground enemy, also the air teleport is something I don't think I've seen anyone else do. While some of the other moves have similarities to other characters the thing is those moves have never been put into one character making him feel more different and original.
It's like giving a character Akuma's Tatsu with the Ken/Sean/Abel's Roll, Sakura's SRK and only a HCB fireball with the Sean tackle as their HCF+P, that's multiple moves put together but since it's all one frame it feels different and should be different due to stuff like how it hits, wherre it hits and of course frame data

I have 3000pp and I'm just about average I guess, my brother on the other hand, he has also around the 3000PP but he wins from everybody despite their pp. I think he's really good, there are a couple of people in my list who has 4000 and 5000 pp and my little brother has defeated them every little time XD

Oni's Ultra 2 doesn't compare to 3rd Strike Akuma's Kongou Kokuretsu Zan Super.
And by the looks of it, there doesn't seem to be any real incentives to use it over his Ultra 1. That Ultra 1 is extremely versatile. I'd be jealous if I were any of the other Street Fighter.

Guys, it's clearly a remix of Killing Moon, which is Akuma's theme from SF3.
Could I just say that Oni looks by no means overpowered? Sure he looks great on the offense, but he hasn't got the best attacks on wake-up (SRK sure, but you can only FADC on hit). He looks awesome though-his attacks look so cool, and his Ultra 2 is almost like one from the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm games. Yes, I played that game. Yes, I liked it...don't ban me.
Lol at people saying Oni is best out of the 4 cause he looks cooler. I've put a decent amount of time into all of them and it definitely goes Yun>Yang>Evil Ryu>Oni. Oni's too slow and hard to get in/out with. His combos do mean damage and look awesome but not gonna mean jack when you can't start them. His fireball is too ass to zone with effectively and recovery is worse or equal to Sakura's. Same with ER, he's basically a worse Akuma but with big damage combos which are really hard to land.
People saying Oni is broken obviously have no idea what they're talking about. IMO he's about lower mid-tier.

like you i would of put them in that order but really ? oni lower mid tier ? i was thinking oni and evil were both higher mid tier with evil ryu leading, do you think cody is slow?
Cody's still not that high up. And he has a lot of frame traps and stuff which is what he uses on the offensive. I will admit though before this video I didn't know about Oni's f+lp, mp target combo so that's definitely important.
He just lacks offensive options and get off me options imo (which is one of cody's biggest weaknesses). He has real good defensive pokes though, almost Chun Li level.

i asked if cody was slow because if oni has his walkspeed and dash speed than ill be more than ok as my main is cody and i see great similarities between the 2 which is why i think i'll do good with oni, as you say cody's offense is medicore when compared to the true rush down characters which is why i want a new main

@50, remember this is AE though. Only Ken, Sakura and Gouken have cowardcopter now and the first 2 need to spend a bar for a legit one. Oni's air dash as an escape is like a worse Gouken cowardcopter. When have you ever seen Gouken try and cowardcopter lol? And tatsu cancelled air dash has the dumbest hitbox ever.
