Why do people continually derail posts on Eventhubs when they can just stay on gamefaqs?
Does anyone know if Zero plays anything like his TvC counterpart? I was wondering if some of his normal retained their properties in MvC3.
Also as far as Zero, some people don't like him cause he was all angsty in the game and died like at least 6 times in the Megaman series as a whole :U
Most people would completely suck using ANY version of Megaman in this anyways.
The same people want Ken in this for some reason.
Ken would add nothing that Ryu or Akuma or some other character doesnt.
1st time player:
Random Ken Fan - "Where's Ken?"

Anyway, I do agree that Ken is to similar to Ryu and Akuma and wouldn't bring anything new other than a flashy Lvl 3 anti air Uppercut. I still want Megaman though.

The only reason why I'd want Ken in is to complete the set. I'd much rather have Bison though. If they can change Jill's moveset, they can change Bison or keep him intact just but buff him up a bit so he has better range on his normals. Just get rid of fat Alpha Bison with the little arms. I'd imagine he'd play similar to Wesker but with more projectile options. Also give back his Psycho Vanish from CvS 2 as well.
I hope FAdC do more of these exhibition matches though with the player commentary. Kind of brings in a new spin on watching matches.
Love it when they slow down the replay, you can really appreciate how well animated the movement of the characters are, I really give Capcom props for that.

Wanting a NEW character in fighting games is never a dumb idea.
X is NEW to Vs. Games so he would be more than welcome.
But my thing is that people were SCREAMING for Spidey...yet nobody really uses him because Capcom made him REALLY hard to use compared to others.
People want Megaman because he's like Capcom's mario. He brought the classics in 8-bit form on the NES with his platforming shooting abilities before SF2 was even made. He's had more games than even Ryu has been in if you count all of the robot's incarnations.
Whether it's classic Megaman or Megaman X or exe, capcom fans feel not being to play as the "blue bomber" in this game just feels wrong. Even if Zero was chosen because of his diverse melee moveset, Megaman is still more iconic and could work as a zoner if anything.
What may really grind fans' gears is the fact that not only was another "shoto" chosen (akuma) to be in the game despite capcom's intent for character diversity...but his select slot is sitting right in the row where zero and Tron are. Why couldn't Megaman be rightfully in that spot on the fighter select screen? Some argue Megaman wasn't chosen because he would play too much like Arthur or whatnot, yet surely he would have a more unique moveset than Akuma has

Capcom slapped alot of fans in the face with this game.
While giving us Amaterasu and Joe, Spencer is in between them and Gene from GodHand could have been in that spot.
Spencer could have replaced Arthur next to Haggar.
MegaMan should have replaced Akuma FOR SURE!! Or if anything replace Viper for Akuma / Bison.
and Sentinel should have been replaced by Cyclops
and Hsien Ko should have been replaced by Capcom's Giant robot PXT from Lost Planet
And I would have made sure the game had LOTS of modes for fans to play, and intro story as well as a climax in the middle. A rival team for your characters with dialogue. Animated movies. Vs. Com and Com Vs. Com, Spectator mode, and mini-games would have been included. Mission mode would have been streamlined to make it easier to figure out what to do next.
All bugs and glitches would have been removed because I would have Hired Desk. I would have had the longest combo in the game be no longer than 10 seconds for that one character.
I would have included a MegaCrash / Combo Breaker that cost 2 meters and drain a slight bit of red health.

You're living in a fantasy world. Most wouldn't even play half of the modes. As for characters, they are all at least balanced. example: Hsien Ko can beat a sentinel (b4 patch) player. Wasnt like MvC2 where there will be NO WAY a Roll player would beat a cable lol. And I see how their doing it.... they want every character to be unique. The only 2 that are alike are wolv/x-23 (which are still pretty diff) and akuma/ryu (where akuma is just a better version of ryu). Other then that, I' pretty satisfied. Plus we're getting more DLC anyway.
