why... why do this? aren't fighting games, playing them online and against friends, supposed to be fun? who's going to have fun playing against the dude who catches them in that chun-li infinite? or if they lose because their character doesn't exist anymore thanks to zero's special glitch thing? that's not fun.

I think he just uses the time that everyone would normally use just to play the game...to play the game AND annoy people.

I gotta say, I think this is great. Haters gon hate, and there's plenty of hate in here so far.
People are using cheap, difficult to deal with tactics all the time online. I wouldn't care if I got beasted by somebody at Desk's level. His execution is at such an extreme level, he would probably beat me anyway.
I think this is hilarious, and, for all you guys know, he is using these glitches and infinite combos against those people who are using cheap tactics that take away from the fun.
The series is called TrollBetter, right? I'm guessing that means that he's trolling trolls, as in, if you're going to try and troll me, be ready for punishment, as in "Troll Better"

This isnt a moral issue or something to make a massive deal out of. The people that were destroyed in the footage will live to play again. calm down.

You realize this is the best way to put pressure on capcom to get this issues fixed right? You realize that most of these things have not been offically banned in tournaments right? You realize that no one cares about your online rank correct?

Only folks that are salty about this are the pullers. Put em on blast, Desk. I don't pull, especially if they are people that rely on glitches to win. I just block them. Alos, I don't think that is all that Desk will do in this video.
What I'm hoping is that he puts himself in Rage Quitter Hell first and then fights his way out again. That would make for an interesting video.

last chance for a spotlight since all of mvc3s exploits are out there now. I mean what did Desk really do for the community? its was all self promotion.
Other people put time in games to actually better the community, research and share combos, frame datas, character guides. Then theres Desk, researching how to break the game and so instead of the community growing, ppl step away from it. All just for promoting his 8-bit music.
If you look at it, most of his videos are just "look at me, I can do stuff you cant." nothing helpful, just self promotion.

That's... you might be right, to be honest. But I think he's doing it for two reasons: To force capcom to fix glitches, and to test the limits of the game engine.
This is based on the other works he did for Street Fighter 4, ect. He does do guides, and he is only one person. Between SF4 and MvC3 and the music and other things he does, he chooses to showcase his potential. And I don't think he's a bad guy for choosing to do taht

I know, making videos showing us what some characters of capable of and reviewing patch information is entirely useless. Combo movies, and exhibitions are silly and contribute nothing to the community. Standing 720's? Garbage.
#6 You are dense is it really such a bad thing for some people to be interested in more than one game? Is it so bad that some people will play both SF and MvC, and enjoy them both? Play what you want but don't act like the announcement of DLC dictates a grand shift of people to stop playing Marvel, they stand on their own legs.

It's amazing how people can get so worked up over how someone else, whom they have more than likely never met, spends their time. Desk choses to spend his free time however he pleases and that affects you in no way. Don't like the videos, don't watch 'em.

Uh, all you angry gamers should realize two things...
1. The name of the series is call 'TrollBetter', meaning he's probably doing this to go after the Trolls in MvC3, and teach them a more efficient way to do their job...by embarrassing them.
2. When the vids come out, you'll probably see his GamerTag in it, or at least the Icon & Title he uses in the game. If you see it again while you're playing, just avoid it.
If Desk is a Troll, he'll get out-Trolled eventually. If he's trying to put Trolls in their place, more power to him.
I dont understand the problem. On the 3rd of april he decided to make an online account on xbox live to use all his tricks he has shown in online matchs for 24 hours. The way some of you guys are going on is like he is going to be doing this ALL the time online.
I think it's pointless to argue what he's gonna do until we actually see what his plan is. I will say I HOPE Desk is smart and dignified enough to not troll players just looking for a good match or having a good time because, being beat by cheap characters is no where near as annoying and rage inducing than having a game breaking glitch performed intentionally to make you rage quit.
It's not like Adventures of Gootecks and Mike Ross where they sit down with SSFIV and pick characters with a single objective to win yet the other player still has a viable chance to win matches. Desk seems like he is planning on performing bugs and glitches that break the game and cause an unfair advantage, obviously, people are gonna ragequit because he's just trolling people.
Desk if your reading this, understand that weather it's PS3 or xbox 360 there are systems in place for reporting this. If enough people complain that your breaking the game intentionally to harrass people as you demonstrate, you can face an inevitable ban. Your a great combo vid maker but, there are more tasteful ways to entertain your subscribers, But for now, i'll wait to see what your planning on doing.
