@3 Yeah that's a problem I found with a lot of these reset video's. All of them assume that the opponent just air tech's neutrally instead of forward/back which would render most of these setups absolutely useless because that's all the person needs to do to avoid it. Not to mention some of them are just really easy to see coming and unless they're like Justin Wong's She-Hulk reset they can be easily avoided.
Sorry for this, but you guys need to check out this M.O.D.O.K. Cube Combo video:
The whole point of the reset is to mix it up. They aren't guaranteed situations. Normally you would finish that combo and if they see you finish it 9 times out of 10, the 10 time they probably would be doing nothing. When you play MVC how many times do you get put into a big combo and just wait for it to finish? It's the same concept they are to catch opponents off guard by taking a combo that is finished a certain way and instead resetting it. If you become predictable then of course they will be able to escape easily from them. It's about mind games.
Damn, that Modok!! Man I love this game! I don't care what the haters say, almost every character (probably every character) is mad powerful/broken, so it kinda balances the game pretty well so far. A couple or things are retarded though, but it's cool, most people are ass online haha
Pretty good stuff right here, the resets that lead into elastic slam are particularly useful, at least to me.
