that first combo took 2 meters not one. u used ex burn kick, which cost one, and then used burst time also cost one bar.
Keep Viper and replace "beam, hurricane kick, dragon punch Akuma" with Bison as a the 4th Street Fighter. If needed.
Take out Sentinel and replace with Cyclops
Replace Arthur with Giant Robot PX-69 from TvC/Lost Planet's PTX-40A the size of Sentinel. Not a mega giant
Is what I would have done.
One good thing Viper can do to make block strings safe is to cancel into L thunder knuckle, which is 100% safe on block.

Not going to rewatch the video but as a Viper player sometimes my ground/air/double jump combos are enough to build a meter on their own. Even though the combo takes 2 meters to execute, it builds one in the process, so it only needs 1 meter to start.

Yeah i know i play her too, thats why i didnt really care for these combos. he could easily get more damage on some of them and yeah i tested the meter building. my combo i do cost 2 meters so i put her at 0 meters to start and by the time i needed the meters to finish my combos they were there.
Viper is never used in MvC 3 because she is one of the most uninteresting characters Capcom has ever created and there are dozens of cooler, more interesting characters to choose from. She is not interesting storywise or design wise nor is she any fun to play as. If she is played in SF4 it's only because of tier whoring and not because anyone actually likes her.
Waste of a character slot along with Felicia and Hsien-Ko. But there are still lots of great characters nonetheless.
I'm working on a combo vid that's with me using C.Viper online. Going to take me ages to complete it though. I'm not playing it as often as I should >.<
