• There is a prize of 50$ being put up on the EventHubs Forums for whoever can become the best MvC3 Character Overseer. In order to become an Overseer, post in the Application Thread saying you would like to volunteer for whichever character you want to write about. After you complete your character guide, all of the character guides will be judged and the best one will be awarded the prize. The deadline to submit your request and complete your character guide is April 15th. It's best to apply early before the characters you are familiar with are taken.

• Team Spooky's Sabin talks about The Next Level, which is going to be a replacement to the now-closed Chinatown Fair. In it he discusses the future of the establishment and the setups that it will bring for the community to use. Read it over here at iplaywinner.

• Sumo sent over a link to his blog post where he talks about the stories in fighting games and why they habitually lack substance. He references classic games up the new modern ones and how stories are habitually afterthoughts when being implemented into fighting games. This is implied to be the beginning of a series, so stay tuned if you are interested.

• KenAdamsNSA made a high-quality MvC3 video showing off Spider-man's Ultimate Web Throw reset that works anywhere on the screen. His combo was inspired by this tutorial, which proves some of the inescapability of the technique, though it is possible for some characters with invincible aerial moves to escape. Sent in by Fawaz.
