Sako, AndyOCR, Tatsu and Warahk are now members of Team Hori. It's great to see a big company jumping in and officially backing players from our community. Here's the announcement from the Tournament Legacy website explaining what this means.
Leading accessory manufacturer Hori (USA), Inc. and video game event company Tournament Legacy present Team Hori! Through collaboration Hori and TL formed this competitive team offering a unique and exciting opportunity to the gaming community. Featuring players from the United States and Japan under one team, the players selected will be acting as ambassadors to unite the global community and further grow the scene.
Team Hori members will not only be representing the company globally using Hori fight-sticks at events but will also be providing valuable input from a professional gamers perspective to the Hori product engineers, aiding in the development process to assure continuous improvement and production of nothing but the highest quality accessories.
Tournament Legacy has been working diligently to bring new sponsors and opportunities to the players, and earning the licensing rights for Team Hori has allowed them to provide this chance for players who have shown their commitment to the community through attending TL and Level|Up's weekly training regimen, Wednesday Night Fights, as well as major tournaments including SoCal Regionals held last November.
The players chosen were selected for their dedication, tremendous skill, and incredible passion to compete. The team will make their competitive debut at Revelations this June 10-12th, 2011.
Tip from Warthog.
Great team!!!
also i lol a bit when i read "incredible passion to compete" and mentaly saw Warhawk IRL rage quiting.
Hori sticks are better overall, but Madcatz catch up for the last couple of years. I would say they are about the same. I have both. Hori for ps3, madcatz for 360.
I have a feeling that madcatz will get Mago.

yes, hori will probably let them use their low end hori ex2 with stock hori buttons.
maybe they dont make a v3 SA with sanwa denshis? or maybe they dont make a VLX with sanwa denshi parts.
get educated you prick. every company makes high AND low end sticks to cover the entire market.
Hori needs to make a "Warahk Edition" stick with epic sideburns.
does this means sako will be at evo this year? i hope so.... =P
