proof of what I'm saying
@EX_Ein: I will probably buy it just for this game (So sad).
The third person perspective is cool, at least it's something new! I always wondered how weird it would be to play this SF FPS style, tatsu's would be so crazy. It be damn near impossible to land the cross tatsu haha!
LMAO. Street Fighter IV and most traditional fighters are 3rd person already. The description you guys are looking for is an over-the-shoulder view or something like that. Definitely not 3rd person hahahaha.
@8 with the touch screen controls it would work
@ #9...Um... You don't have to worry. PS3 version is already in 3rd person... so is the 360. I think you mean over the shoulder. There's a reason why the poster didn't call it 3rd person.
Anyways, no it would NOT be a good idea. I guess there's really no harm (or too much extra cost) in doing it. It might seem cool in the beginning, but it's really not practical. You are going to be playing a 3D game with 2D hit boxes. If you put the perspective in 3D as well (3D, as in polygons, not 3DS), It will throw off the gamer. There's a reason why the game is played from a 2D perspective and a reason why Capcom went with the 2D hit box. It just seems counterproductive to me...
#21...if Sony doesn't mess it up... they have a knack... But It IS out there. Even rumors coming from the patent office about it. MK dev team supposedly has had their hands on it.
This has to come soon. It's embarrassing that my friends' phones have better graphics than my PSP...
I want it...plain and simple. I'm a junky so buying this just to have in my possession is not a problem. I wonder if it will have mass online...hmm probably wouldn't work out though since wii internet with tatsunoko is horrible. Whatever...point being I will be a consumer to this product. I want to have that random encounter in the streets lol.
Now that over the shoulder view will be an odd twist to the mix indeed

what has >>Nintendo<< ever said was one price in japan and not that near that estimate of the price in America?
Learn business, because at the end of the day Nintendo's goal is to make money and you can't make money by undercutting selling price when the parts of production are way higher.
RedRum6x3
you forgot the PSP ccame out late 04 in japan and early 05 in America and Sept in Euro
Rewind back to sept 05 and find a phone that cost less then a psp and looked better
@30: I know that, but I'm just saying, if you already have the game on either the PS3 or the 360, why get it for a handheld system? Unless you want to play this game on the go, I don't see a point of shelling out $40, or $45 (?) for a port of the game.
@ 8ighty6ix
Really? There are so many good games coming for the 3DS: Metal Gear Solid 3, Dead or Alive, Zelda OoT, Resident Evil (2 games), Kid Icarus, and Megaman Legends 3. Even if this is a fighting game community, I feel it would be stupid buying a realatively expensive system for one game, especially when there is such a good line up besides that one game you want.
