This is the kind of game I'd want to see in motion IRL (for the 3D) but not to own.
Well, it's not like this is anything new. And why are the buttons so huge? You can fit every special attack, super, and ultra on that touch screen. Instead, they just go with four attacks.
Despite it being portable, I think I'll still pass. The game's a bit too slow for my liking anyway.
A Vs. game would be perfect for the DS or 3DS....
Darts from what it looks like or atleast from that the trailer said it'd only be the original 35 SSf4 roster,
anyway I'm very underwhelmed by this game and it's system because while that figure mode looks like it might be fun for those kids who need to get some longevity out of games it doesn't look like it will sell well and the system looks like it will be a bust, since the prices will be high and most non gamer parents who don't see 3D as a reasons to get a 3Ds and it's launch library is not there, from what is known about alot of the titles for the 3DS they barely have tech demo trailers.
Translating Ryu's move buttons show:
1- Super Combo: Light
2- Hadouken: Light
3- Ultra Combo
4- Shoryuken: Light
I dunno, just like saying that. XD

Actually that's a good point, I'm really curious how they're going to handle charge moves. Other fighting games on the DS (perhaps most notably the Bleach DS games, some of the best fighting games the average fighting fan has never played) have used the touch screen for easier specials/supers, but none that I can recall ever had charge characters.
Its worth noting that with the Bleach DS games I didn't think I'd like the touch screen easy inputs at first, but eventually came to like them a lot as if you relied on them exclusively you were disadvantaged (they basically only did ex versions of specials and the heavy version when you were out of meter and some times a light special was much preferable) but in the heat of battle when I just HAD to have that super/ex special and my nerves were shot it was incredibly comforting to know I had an easier fall back option. Almost always knowing I could the move I wanted when I wanted made the matches slightly more about strategy then physical dexterity tests and its the strategy of fighting games that I found I ultimately enjoy most.
about time.......not a fan of handhelds-----wont b getting it------MvC3 baby
Pfft, whoops, made a mistake in the thing. XD
Wow, I should probably get some sleep, misreading EX and Strong as Lights. XDDD
wow.. those touch screen buttons look like suck.. all the capcom artist and they coudln't draw awesome icons for the moves?
Woah, you can do special moves by just tapping those things? o.o
Considering that there are only six "in-game" action buttons, these additional buttons on the touch screen seem like a pretty good idea. Executing an Ultra is going to be damn difficult with 4 of the buttons on the face of the console and the 2 "shoulder" buttons. No matter how you configure those buttons, hitting 3 of them at the same time is never going to be anything but really hard.
(For anybody coming up with a pad player argument against what I just said above, don't forget they've always had 8 buttons on the console pads, which in standard configuration always puts the '3 buttons together' option in easy reach.)
Putting other moves that require multiple simultaneous button presses on there is also a good idea. Focus attacks, throws, and an EX attack that's more difficult to perform due to how the buttons are arranged (along with the portable's dimensions) also seem like prime candidates for this.
I'm at a little bit of a loss as why someone would bother with putting standard specials in those limited spaces (unless you're a flowchart Ken player or the like).

Graphics aren't everything, unless you're retarded.
it's not $300 for 3ds unless you can't wait and import.
it will be probably 250
looks great :]
