Capcom Unity said that there will be an announcement tonight at 11. Might be MvC3 related.
I hope we will finally be able to see which version of Megaman they are going to use. Hopefully classic since the X version was deconfirmed.

Capcom is making an announcement tonight at 11PM EST... They're going to be announcing new 3DS games at the 3DS conference. So I wouldn't be expecting any MVC3 news tonight, guys.
Unless they're putting MVC3 on the 3DS...

1. Silver Surfer
2. Elektra
3. A character from Akira
(probably Silver Surfer)

You don't really have to choose. Since paying for CC or NYAF gives you access to both events (since they're in the same building) you can be with your kin and go enjoy MvC3 as well.

i remember seth talking about a character reveal that blows his mind, i wonder if that's it, and i remember him saying it's something from marvel side and not capcom. so it'd make sense to save this announcement for comic con at NYC
i really doubt vergil will make it but if he's announced i'll cream my pants even if i were in the middle of class
Man this better be a BIG reveal saying something Epic will be revealed. Last month was good with Spidey and Albert Wesker.. It better be the crazy Marvel Character they spoke of.
I'm expecting to see either Apocalypse, Gambit,Mega Man Star Force, Silver Surfer, Gill, the Phoenix (from Marvel not Phoenix Wright), and Arthur, but only one or two of those might just happen... If they made Apocalypse, he would play similar to Tron Bonne & Sentinel, but with cooler weapons and moves.Well I guess I have to wait and see...
Hopefully it's Silver Surfer, he would be crazy, because I can imagine that character fighting upside down on his surfing board or even right side up without turning around he can merge with is board and have some really crazy combos. Then is it's him, there has to be some Capcom character to balance him off.....maybe.. Pyron from darkstalkers??/
i think we should notice by now, characters who make a return are at least hallmark or staple to marvel and capcom, and there aren't that many
apocalypse magneto and that stuff are fans favroite, but it looks like capcom crew would rather put new blood into the franchise
new characters are either:
missed the mvc2 cut
new and became iconic since mvc2
not part of TvC
that said, the biggest problem w/ marvel's side in mvc2 was too many x-men

Seths comments about that so called broken character are a little bit overboard. All these marvel characters would be considered broken if their moves and character are based like in the comics. Its not a big deal what he said.

Although Big Ol Al Wesker is looking pretty awesome, so he may find his way onto the subs bench as back-up. Virgil would also be amazing but DMC already has two characters so not very likely, but he makes the cut it will be fantastic, if not fair enough as I'm not expecting him too. But please, please put Zero and Magneto in there!

I never said this nor implied it. All I said was that you're citing your sources from a list that's already confirmed to be false.
You're only making yourself look dumb by deviating from the point I was making. Don't change the focus of the argument just because you don't really have much to back up your claim.
my guess is that Frank West and MODOK will be the next characters to be announced. Both of them have been "spotted" in recent trailers so it would make sense. This is assuming that both these characters are even in the game.
MODOK isn´t in the game for the simply reason that is not in the leaked list, which is a draft of the real and definitive one. Maybe all the characters that are in the list aren't going to be in the game (Mr.Fantastic, Emma Frost...), but all the characters of the game will come from that list. Sure.
And MODOK isn´t in the roster.

BB Hood, C Viper, Silver Surfer and MODOK are all playable in MvC3!
Because eventhough the list has been 100% so far about the characters you can IMMEDIATELY (read that>>IMMEDIATELY) play it cant possibly be right again!

Dude..Frank West, and Silver Surfer are definitely gonna be announced! Hopefully Megaman(the classic one.) Gets revealed to. The Capcom side really needs more villains..the Marvel side already has 5( I think X-23 is a villain im not sure..) and Capcom only has Wesker. I would love to see Sigma or Dr. Wily, Virgil, Jet Black, Gill or Seth, Jedah, and Franziska Von Kharm.a

Yeah, if it happens (I mean MODOK to be announced, which I think is impossible by the nature and profile of the character) I will stop giving my vote to the leaked list.
And I can assure you I'm hoping it happens, I don't like the Marvel side of the list.

The "Beta list" angle could be believable, except one thing.
Ghost Rider.
Ghost Rider was cut from the roster a while into development(Likely for legal reasons, at the time) So if that website "leak"(from the Japanese site which doesn't even have a character page on it) so if it was factual, it would stand to reason that Ghost Rider would be on a beta list.

Guess what, it didn't shock anyone else.
-Tron Bonne was never deconfirmed, the second I saw her stage, I thought Volnutt or Tron would be in the game, and I was hoping for Tron. She's a veteran of the series, and a fan favorite. Plus that would mean Mega Man Classic is likely to return.
-X-23? A terrible character, one Marvel is shoving down people's throats, didn't want to see her, but I always thought it was possible. She's pretty much the new "Marrow" for this game.
-Wekser? The day MvC3 was announced, Wesker's voice actor posted the trailer on his Facebook page, teasing his involvement in the game.
-Spider-Man? You're joking, right? What, are you one of those people who thought Activision "magically" cut him out?
Hell, the original leak, the one that revealed the game's existence? That mentioned the roster was above 40, which this "leak" got wrong.
Lists like this survive because they have characters that people want.
Would I love to see Taskmaster, Shuma-Gorath, Rad Spencer, Arthur and Hsien-Ko?(That's odd, isn't her Japanese name "Lei Lei"?) Yes I would.
Does that mean I trust a list that's already wrong, several times over? No.
Hell, at this point, I'm sure if M.O.D.O.K. does get revealed, you'll just claim he's a boss character, and that's why the "list" doesn't have him.
Chances are that Virgil wont be in the game. Dante and Trish are already in. He would make an awsome villain for the Capcom side though...I also really wanted Nemesis...I don't think his appearance is that grotesque. Compared to Tyrant(who is in mvc2 for Jills super, and in the background of the Arklay mansion underground laboratory Stage.)

What is with the hate for x-23? I think she is a great character. She brought some depth to the wolverine comics as an antagonist after he lost the whole mystery of his past with origins. She is an essential part of x force, and was one of the better characters marvel transfered into the xmen comics to bring in younger readers. From what I now down here in florida she is pretty well liked and popular amoung the community.
As far as her gameplay is concerned I think she plays more like a faster psylocke minus the projectile. But I cqan see the marrow. But how is the bad I though marrow was a pretty wicked character. Ugly as sin but fun to play. Plus x-23 is sexy so + and she is going to be fast and have a good mix up game. I just don't see why people hate on her.
