nerfing him if he made it to SSF4 is really not fair to say. SSF4 is not the same as 3s, clearly. most of his aegis reflector stuff wouldn't work right off the bat for a bunch of reasons. i think one of them being that he may not be able to build meter as fast if say the reflector was his super.
then, since there isn't a way to stock multiple supers he would lose the double reflector stuff. that is, unless you wouldn't mind him having a super reflector and waste a ultra on being another form of reflector like ryu or gouken had at first. meaning of course ryu super and ultra hadouken gouken super and ultra shoryuken..
maybe he could be good in the new street fighter. but for some reaon i just don't think the people who want him so bad would be happy anyhow. even if he is good it would still be 'he can't even do this or that from 3s' 'capcom always nerfs the 3s fighters'

I've already thought about this. Urien can have his Aegis take two EX bars and have it special move cancelable. Even then, he still won't be the same. He won't be able to TTH because of SSF4's juggle system and of course Capcom will remove his unblockables.
he facepalmed because after he did the second fireball, there was no time for him to jumo... and almost no one would be attempting to jump when they see themselves being hit (the jab). the jab messed the guy up... considering how low his life was, i'd assume he was trying to spam srk or the fireball he executed in desperation. almost all shoto users will do this when their life is low because they know if the person messed up their combo just enough, the move they're trying to do will be executed and they'll turn the tables or aleast survive for the time being.
Urien is 3rdSs Akuma...........WAY 2 BEASTLY------ dont get me wrong Akuma is the strongest character in sf history......Even in animes & movies he cant b touched.......game wise Urien would b equivalent 2 Akuma-just my opinion

i think he wouldnt fit into the SSF4 engine. hes all about unblockables and juggles and those are two things SSF4 doesnt support. i could be wrong though lol

You'd have to be a complete and utter moron/or new to street fighter to not notice the fireball coming at you from behind and not know that Aegis >reflect<or REFLECTS! So doing a super, not trying to get space and not jumping after your first super bounces off an Aegis Reflector= Moron/scrub or completely new to street fighter 3

i like using different characters. why put another character in the game that has similar moves.. Urien projectiles look stupid and hes just not apprealing to me! Alex is way better. we have enough of that! id rather see some new characters or the most popular like alex rolento elena and karin.

you must not have been around for the whole mess vanilla was in because Rose Ryu Seth and a bunch of other characters had unblockables.

Unblockable: two attacks with overlapping hit boxes cause a situation in which iyou cannot block both attacks at the same time, thereby causing an unblockable situation. unblockables are guaranteed hits unless parried (sf3 engine ONLY) or an invulnerable move is used to escape it.
while yes those moves cannot be blocked they are different from unblockables.

the only same move Urien and Seth have is the chariot tackle which is Seths FA. other than that i cant see any other similarities. i can understand that Urien is not appealing to you, and thats fine. but dont go assuming hes a copy of Seth, when hes cleary nothing like him.

You said "his game is unblockables",which is incorrect seeing as I refuse to use Aegis and didn't know unblockable situations but still get solid wins, just it's considered the best way to play him and Ex-Kunai can be used as unblockable
and dude use "unblockable situation" because unblockable attacks(Level 3 focus, Ultras and Command throws) are also called Unblockable

actually you jumped into conclusion. if you wouldve searched harder and seen my other comments, you could clearly see that i said Urien would NOT fit the (S)SF4 engine.

I AGREE---his normals are some what the same--also they have that cr-elbow-but abel and alex has that 2......other then that-thats probably it.... there urtras seem similar- jus my opinion-but seths r more into counters--has no reflector

#37 thats true but dont u think alex would be perfect for ssf4 hes a grappler but doesnt have the same moves also has combo options, and it would be interesting to see how he would stack up to zangief or abel which they never been in a game together but would be some nice wrestling matchups! whats important is the overall cast having different fighting styles that are realiatic to "street fighting" that is the name of the game! i dont think projecting a wall and trapping ur opponent would be fun and would be frustrating if anything. like seth he has the most special moves u would say? but EVERY seth player i face does the same combo then juggles u in the air every time! its a waste to have a character with all those moves and not many ppl use bcuz they wana win and gain bp so they only use what works and its hard to avoid. imaging urien vs seth now that is not street fighter its more like 3rd strike.

# 43 i didnt take it seriously just wondering where u come from saying that, i been playing sf since sf2 at the arcades. i never played alpha really, i played 3rd strike but not competetively so sf is nothin new to me.
agreed to # 42 no shotos no tai fighters....1 or 2 more pure grapplers.......no imitation copys of seth urien & gill......sum more ninjas like vega ibuki & guy........& some military type of fighting like guile and mayb bison........... would b nice 2 c alex- rolento-rmika-hugo-charlie- elena-remy-sodam-eagle and another crazy character like el fuerte & hakan---------i know half of my list wont happen-just saying it would b more satisfying
