• The official New York Comic-Con website states that they'll be revealing new characters and features for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 at the expo on October 8th.
• Seth Killian elaborates a little on the plot of MvC3, and mentions that there will be a Story Mode in the game, which might be related to the mission mode Niitsuma talked about.
• Foundation 9, which Backbone Entertainment is a part of, said they generated $22 million in sales from their top five Xbox Live Arcade games. Backbone was one of the teams behind Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix's releases. This type of success likely means we'll be seeing many more of these kind of releases from Capcom in the future.
• Early registration has been opened up for the SoCal Regionals, which is a $10,000 SSF4 tournament, held from Nov. 5 - 7. There's a nifty flier for the event here.
• If you're worried about Mad Catz controller compatibility when updating your PlayStation 3 firmware to version 3.50, worry not as the update won't affect most of their products, including their line of FightSticks/Pads.
• There's a video showing a LittleBigPlanet level modeled after Guile's SF2 stage and includes a few characters from the SF series fighting.
• Makncheese got an email from CoinOpexpress offering a few minor details about SSF4's arcade release. The factory release is scheduled for mid-December 2010 and an individual kit will cost 478,000 yen ($5,665).

can anyone with a modded 360 stick to work on PS3 tell me if the update killed dual mods or not? I don't want to mod it only for it to not work.
It's possible, you guys. They're still programming the characters and all. The build at TGS had 18, it's possible there will be a playable at NYCC with all 22 current. If not playable, then I'm sure the 4 TGS characters will at least be in it, so we can see more of what they can do via Seth releasing some walkthrough videos.

not quite sf related but still CAPCOM. im a mega man fan. though Im not really into mvc3 at all, im looking forward to seeing him in action in Mega Man Universe.
-Back in classic 2D but revised 3D graphics
-Several Mega Man styles to choose from
-Several other characters (like Ryu CONFIRMED) will be selectable aswell
-Constructing your own stage and uploading it to PSN is possible
I only hope they bring back all the classic stage bosses especially the ones from MM 3 and 4(my all time favorites).

My guess 4 Marvel is either She-Hulk,Storm or the "Crazy Character one or two will be shown for the Marvel Side. For Capcom, my guesses are one or two of these characters either Arthur,Bionic Commando, or Frank West.
Those are my guesses, but I wish they will reveal Captain Commando and a powerful Capcom villain either one of these Seth, Urien, or Gill. I bet for sure it will be a very popular Marvel character at New York Comic-con!

@Darko_p86 i can't wait for universe. I do hope we can get stages from past mega man games. If we don't,i hope can get the sprites for we can make them as well as the old music. I love mega man 3and 4. I really hope we can also get the bosses weapons as well. I still play powered up its good. As for a release date i don't know it. I just wish it comes out before the year ends.
