• Wesker is a teleport master. He can do teleports as very simple Cancels from his moves.
• Tron Bonne does massive damage and has good re-launchers.
• Spider-man has a lot more options, his web swing is actually good now. Maximum Spider is far more effective, it puts you in the air so you can combo right after landing it.
• X-23 is a major rushdown character, high and low attacks, great ways to continue her combos in the air. Also, she has a Blanka type hop move, which can go towards or backwards, but also go in the air and she can Cancel out on the way down with her other moves.
• The player who won the most at the recent Fight Club called Chun-Li the best character in the game. This was the Tokyo Game Show build. Seth added simply that she's, "no slouch."
• Capcom is looking at adding an online practice mode in future fighting games.
Also, Destructoid added a roundup from the Fight Club, which has some OK information, but the thing that stood out was Killian's comment on the roster leak lists floating around.

I <3 Seth Killian, but there has to be some truth to the main character leak list. People dont just guess characters like amaterasu and x-23. wesker maybe, but who knew that tron would be back in the game? Mind you the leak list Hadoken.net posted a while back (the one im referring to) came out a bit before some of the screenshots were posted.
I think capcom made a mistake with the flash codes or whatever but i trust they have the power to debunk ANY leak list by adding chars that werent on there! (moar cyclops or gambit please!!)
@#3, of course there were some on the list that were eventually announced. It's pretty goddamn easy to make a list of some of Marvel's and Capcom's most popular characters and say "it's a leaked list!!!!" If you pick enough really popular characters, then most of your list will turn out to be correct, and it will be amplified by the sheer amount of characters that will eventually be in the game.
All of those lists still had some characters that were eventually debunked, and yet people STILL won't shut up about them. Use some common sense, people.

Yeah, I was there when Seth was talking about it. None are 100% accurate but there are some good guesses. I really wish we recorded that conversation. Not because it revealed anything specifically, but because it was really interesting.
I had written about the lack online practice modes in fighting games earlier this year.
I'm not really that good of a player, but I do know enough to teach newbies. It's a pain to help people in an online environment since you can't really do anything easily.

I was hoping Amaterasu got in. Joe got in for TvC, it certainly wasn't a stretch to guess Ammy would get a spotlight as well.
X-23, despite how nobody here seemed to really know her, is more popular than you think among Marvel fans.

Then that means the leaked lists are wrong. The purpose of a leaked list is that someone, somehow, got their hands on a 100% complete list of characters. Of course the list has some correctly guessed characters, but that doesn't mean the person got their hands on a leaked list. Some people are a bit too gullible.
"I got this list from their site when it first came up by a mistake on their part, but they quickly removed it before anyone else can see! Here's the list I got, guys!"
Seriously, it sounds like something you'd hear in 4th grade. Y'know, the kid who talk about how to capture Pikablu by beating the Elite 4 exactly 100 times in a row without turning your game off and having a team of all Pikachu? People actually used to believe stuff like that.
Don't get me wrong, previous games did have some accurate leaks, so I can see how there's faith in the unbelievable story, but there were like 6 lists revealed that day with the same story, and out of all those guesses, one of them managed to get a few right. I'd get some correct guesses as well if I made a few different lists and spreed them around. People will stick to the list that has the most correct guesses.
It's like taking a multiple choice test I don't know the answers to. If I only have one shot, then I might fail, but if I can submit a bunch o answer sheets with all guessed answers, chances are at least one of those tests will have a decent score.

Plus he's OBVIOUSLY referring to Dormammu no{t being on the GOOD Leaked list, when he's UNLOCKABLE which is why he wasnt on the GOOD leaked list at the time.

Online practice mode = victory, I can't count how many times I had to get my super bar filled up, ultra, to show combos and setups to my friends on xbox live....

i am a huge marvel fan, the fact that x-23 was put in there is making me hope that Joseph aka good magneto is the Magnus in this game, long shot but it would be cool

I agree with everything you said. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. It's not like Super Street Fighter IV where a character rumor list predicted every character including someone new and outlandish like Hakan months in advance, it's just some kid making up a dream roster with some obvious veterans, some obvious newcomers, and a whole lot of guesswork. Not only that, Capcom has said how they don't even know what the final roster will be at this point. The lists have been WRONG, and they will continue to be wrong until release. It's just a game of Minesweeper, they go into it with a blind guess and amend their guesses based on new information.

Guys, im thinking since like 70% of the characters from marvel super heroes are confirmed in the game so far, how about people on the xmen side of xmen vs street fighter? Rouge gambit sabertooth magneto storm juggernaut and the so called deconfirmed cyclops? It sure wouldnt make sense that we have been playing these vs games for years just to have the characters that made the vs games what they are today not be in mvc3.
Chun li being the best character? I don't know if i would say that least not yet anyway. She could be currently better than the others and like Seth said she's no slouch am just glad she's going to be a good and easy character to use and fast as she should always be.
35# wait a minute didn't they have screen shots of cyclops,a couple of months back so they drop him clean from mvc3 are was that someone else in those picture.
My theoretical team as of now:
Viewtiful Joe - He was one of my faves in TvC and it looks like he's only gotten much better.
Hulk - He'll probably end up sucking, but he can't be worse than he is in MvC2...
Tron - She just looks amazing in this game, although her assist will surely be toned down.
I'm still never taking Deadpool or Ammy out of whatever team I make. Not like I'm gonna play this game seriously, anyway.
Also, I doubt Chun-Li will stay "the best" for much longer. Besides, that's one guy's opinion. We'll see what happens when there's like 70 characters.

yeah this game is more on the line of fun craziness it isnt more series like street fighter
i wish they could do 80 plus 4 DLC packs with 6 or 7 characters each
but no clone characters like the three different wolverines from the last game ( seriously who wants 3 wolverines)

I remember how everyone in shoryuken.com, claimed that the limitation of AD for characters like Ryu and Chris, would not affect the gameplay of both characters. In EVO players claimed than Wolverine and Captain America were the best characters. In SDCC somebody from Capcom-Unity some guy said that Chun-Li, Super Skrull, and Trish were the best chars. And now? Somebody have a link for a good preview of the build?
Exaggerated a bit. I saw a few people in her announcement recognizing her, but it's just a majority of the posts were "Who's that? She's not popular enough! Never heard of her! Wolverine clone, new Bone Claw!" etc.
When she's actually a fairly well known character for those who have been following comics this past decade. It makes sense that they'd wanna add a few newer characters here and there.

It's really difficult to get a good preview for the game with such limited hands-on experience. I didn't even know how to switch characters until my second match. It's so weird, I had to hold one of the buttons switch. Definitely didn't like that.
Your best bet for an indepth analysis would probably be from Keits himself. He seems to be the most qualified to make assessments and he has played multiple builds of the game. I've only played the E3 build and the TGS one. Both are very different from each other.
My airdash comment just comes from my two matches I had. To me it felt like Amaterasu and Chun-Li were able to zone into enemies with no issues. Especially compared to someone like Thor.

I understand you can "train" while you wait for someone to join your match in Blazblue, but if there is a way to invite someone to "training" I just am not seeing it. That is what I think Capcom has in mind. And honestly that was some of the best news I've heard them say.

Then it's not a leaked list, now is it? It's a dream list someone made up and posted online. There's no reason to use it as proof for what character is going to come next, because the list was made up. It's not a leaked list, so it's not such a bright idea to use it as a reference sheet for what characters are coming up.
A leaked list doesn't change no matter what because it's a leak of information not a list of what they might be doing then that's just called a rumor. Kinda like the SSF4 list there were somethings to come from the main source that were completely rumor and false, and there were somethings that came from the secondary source that were false and some that were true
the leaklist that everyone is referring to is not 100% accurate because they already said emma frost is not in the game and she was mentioned and mr.fantastic is also not in the game and he was mentioned (we already have super skrull)...but you also have to think their is also DLC and seth said their trying to announce all the characters so they have room to make new ones..i wanted rose in mvc3 but that is probably -1000000% chance that will happen hahaha but i will enjoy what capcom has in store anyways ^_^

aka Unlimited mutliplayer practice without having to worry about KOs and being able to test something out in a live situation(aka against a competent player). and being able to (hopefully) see inputs and get feedback and be able to learn from the other players inputs

I still probably wont use Wesker or Spidey. They'll be fun to watch but still boring IMO.
