Well that attempted juggle in the first vid must only work in the corner maybe.
The way J Wong play him, a lot of divekicks, linked crouching kicks into 3xSlashes. I wanted to see more varied combos!

Well im gonna main Yang along with Chun when a console version is released. Ive been waiting for this for a while.....and yes, this vid was BALLER indeed. JWong go hard.

I'm glad I established myself as a Guy player before this vid. Funny how an everybody is impressed given that if you play as Guy, you'd know all that stuff was basic.
At least you guys are starting to see the potential in the new characters. Sure Makoto isn't as good but she's still a beast. Fireballs and uppercuts don't mean squat if you've got a counter and matchup knowledge.
This game has strong dynamics. US Players are just lazy tier whores. I'm on PSN. Get at me.

@TheMasterPlayer yea baller has roots in basketball, but through mainstream pop culture it can be used to express anything that's pretty cool or awesome.
I didn't expect Yang to Full Cinematic Ultra with Raishin Mahakin an aerial opponent.
Seems like Yang really depends on those divekicks. I didn't really see wong using any footsies. It was more like dive kick -> bnb or c.lk > c.lk > c.lk > 3xslash.
Hopefully, a better video will come out sooner or later that shows Yang at a higher level of gameplay.

...I'm pretty sure being a baller has everything to do with having money and not necessarily being cool. "Baller" refers to a professional athlete, and being a baller means having money like a professional athlete.
It's cool to use in this case because the nerdiness of its use is pretty funny.

Those are his main tools, they always have been, but since he's new you aren't going to see much outside of c.mk > slashes and c.lks to EX slashes, and basic slash pressure with dive kicks thrown in. He has his roll kick and flip grab that people haven't made much use of yet, and of course his palm
I love how when people refer to shotos they always go "they're DIFFICULT TO MASTER!" Bs. Learning when and how to combo 3 or so moves isn't difficult to master. Want a character that's difficult to master? Try dudley in third strike, makoto in 3s or super 4, gen etc. Shotos may take practice to use with good effectiveness, but saying they take a ton of difficulty to master when you've tried mastering characters like the ones I've mentioned makes you realize how bs that statement is.

I like how the people crying about TIER WHORES or whatever haven't even accounted for the fact that maybe he's just picking up and trying out Yang to see what he's like and what he can do
(not to mention TIER WHORE comments make no sense considering the game isn't even finished yet, hence there's no TIERS for SSF4 AC, and yes like many have pointed out he played Chun in 3S, not Yun)
at any rate, thanks for the videos. I've been dying to see videos of Yang, since I tend to like him more than Yun. I'm still not sure which I'd rather pick up, though

But I'm saying between the twins, he was always a Yun user and that people always claimed that was because he was the coolest twin bla bla. Even when they were anounced, everyone was waiting for Yun, now that Yang looks the strongest, everyone is crying like Yang fanboys. When they never had the balls to use him on 3rd Strike.

I don't think the trade ultra is broken, since I think being close to the corner is what allowed the ultra to work.
If it can be done anywhere on the screen, then it might actually be useful. I'm not sure whether it could be as useful as U2 though, but we'll see.

What are you even talking about? I've barely played 3S. I've barely touched the twins period, but I always kind of liked Yang's design more. I also like Yang a bit more because he's (somewhat) similar to Fei Long gameplay-wise, one of my favorites in Super. I was just commenting on people trash talking Justin Wong for no legitimate reason. And I was saying I was "undecided" between the two because, like I said, I've barely touched the twins before.
And how can you say Yang looks "stronger" when there's only been a week of shaky cam videos? I don't think 75% of the people who comment on this website know what a loke test is.
I was just saying that less than 10 minutes of Justin Wong playing a specific character on a build of an unfinished game is nothing worth getting angry at him, or the game, over, and that it's not really indicative of TIERS, STRENGTH or whatever.
In the fighting game community there seems to be a tendency to lash out without putting things in perspective, and it just annoys me is all.
Yun and Yang are looking like their Second Impact selves at the moment, in that nothings truly unsafe on block with them but it's still easy to punish mistakes on whiff if they stay around this, they'll be decent characters who might be considered Mid Tier.
With the exception of Ex_Ein, I've seen lots of people on this forum bitch abou the characters being nerfed and shouldn't be in the game and now everybody on here is asking dumb questions like,
"Where is he playing?"
"Is the arcade out?"
"He only has dive kicks and rekkas?"
and statements like,
"He looks like he spams the Ultra, lol"
"Best Guy I've ever seen" (really, you've never seen combofiend?")
"3x slashes should do more damage."
No offense to anyone I've quoted but please stop raging during announcements if you're just assuming. It's really irritating to come on and find so many uninformed opinions because the people that are raging the loudest are the uninformed ones and that makes you the loudest one's heard by Capcom. It wastes their time putting in dumb changes instead of good changes (online training lobbies) and putting in characters long time players really want.
