Here's some of the interesting things he had to say about Tron Bonne and X-23.
• As you might have guessed, Tron Bonne plays a lot like she did in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Other than a new Level 3 Super (which I think we got a look at in the Tron Bomme/X-23 reveal trailer from yesterday), she's going to be the same lego torturing hot-bot jockey that you know and love.
• X-23 is going to be something else. She will not be a Wolverine clone, though she does have some "brutal rushdowns", and "some exciting unblockable techniques where if you're able to attack high she's able to assist low." She's also "one of the fastest characters in the game," and though she can "reattach limbs," she wont be using that skill, as severed limbs would push Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 out of the T rating category.
Saying X-23 won't be a clone of Wolverine is like saying Ken won't be a clone of Ryu.
They have different normals, different angles/speed/strenght on specials, very different supers, but they still look and feel very much the same.
And from what I've seen in the trailer, she looks indeed like a wolfclone. GAMEPLAY-WISE.
I have to say, this game looks absolutely amazing. The characters and art style in this game look more "alive" and is simply stunning. The sad part though? I am not really even interested in it. I am gonna play it for sure, but not really sure if I am gonna buy it. Now before I get the hate mail.... I just want everyone to know that I played and own MVC2, and to me, it was overly complicated. The tag-team aspect got incredibly confusing for me and I couldnt focus. Maybe I am just an old dog that is unable to learn new tricks:(
They should put the AXE-MAN in from RE5. Give him some devastating power attacks with that huge axe. So......is that an axe in ur pocket or are ya just happy to see..... err yea, it is. WHOOSH!(sickening slicing sound)THUD! lol

You know, you have a pretty solid opinion on how she plays for someone whose only contact with her was in less than two minutes of random videos, without even knowing the properties of her attacks.
As others already said, her specials are very different from Wolvie's, and talking about similarities between their normals right now is more speculation than anything. And regarding your comparison to Ryu and Ken, there are far more similarities between Ryu and Ken's normals than differences.

for x-23, i think she looks like she could be a deadly character if you know how to use her. its always the case, but i need to get this game in my own hands first to see how she plays
x-23 haters keep ur thoughts 2 urself. no one wants 2 hear u whine all day about x-23 being a clone sorta. on the other hand she reminds me of juri and we need her in the game as well as the people said before.

Miss X-23 isn't a clone of Wolverine, guys. I've fought Mr. Guile plenty of times, and she took his Triple Flash Kick from him!
I love x-23 in the comics but in the game..............................not so much.
Just seems like cannon fodder for Thor Skrull and Spiderman

Yes, I agree it would be cool if Hakan could break out his 7 daughters and me and go to town in MVC3. Not sure if I have the fanbase yet, tho. If anyone from SFIV series gets in, I'm thinking Juri(Shudder)/C. Viper/Rufus/Seth.

Heh, if you were to give some of these people hitbox and frame data for the two characters maybe they would realize the framework of a character is what makes them unique rather than the coat of paint on top, if they were even competent to know what any of it means. If they used the same exact data for any other character, nobody would be saying a WORD. It's alright if you just don't like X-23, that's an opinion, but saying she plays exactly like Wolverine is blatant misinformation.

i came here to show my love for mvc3 and well any other vs capcom game, but from all that i have seen

I always thought it was Silver Surfer who Seth was talking about being broken. He said it's a Marvel character and it only makes sense, the dude flies around on a surfboard and how are you supposed to balance that? Could be someone else, just Surfer always jumped out at me as the character it would be.
