AndriaSang.com spotted over on AM-net, an arcade information site, that Super Street Fighter 4 will see a December arcade release and the upgrade kit will sell for 1,912,000 yen, or roughly $23,000 USD.There is a great demand for a console update, no worries!
Hopefully, they will fix all the bugs and get the balance on point with this.
Now show me Honda and Sagat's new costumes!!!
i wonder if we will get the dlc before or after the arcade release
I'm curious to know what portion of the six characters is going to be Third Strike and what portion will be Alpha. Considering how many Alpha characters we have already, it's possible all 6 characters will be from SF3.
Based off Ono's tweets, it doesn't sound like Mika made the cut, so anything is a go at this point.
fcuk 6!!! I want 12 characters, everyone gets new supers and new ultras per supers added..
a Versus Recording, to save matches between people who play in the versus mode..
Viable Wall Bounces should become open to more characters..
Animation changes to some ultras, appropriate nerfs and buffs..
Parrying..
Character model changes, Chun more tits, Cammy more busty, Makoto more feminine, Ibuki more ass, C.Viper more tits and lose the dress shirt under or fix the tie that gives her uni-boob, and all female characters need more feminine hands and feet!!! I hate seeing the man hands and feet!! And Sakura, grow her up a bit, a little longer hair and definitely more busty!!
Do these things and a better game balancing, and Capcom sales will go through the roof, as well as tissue box sales!!
bwahahahah!!!!
Jakulagi for Capcom Video Game Designer!!!
@#8/ShaftyCakes:
I haven't given up hope yet, but things are looking pretty grim. It's just been too long. If they don't announce the PC port at the Tokyo Game Show, well, they still might be waiting until the arcade version is out, but that's heading deep into wishful thinking territory. Of course, this is all just based on my gut feeling, if anyone thinks they have more insight into Capcom's plans I'd like to hear it.
@#15/YoYoMan:
September 16-19, last time I checked.
@10
I dont wanna say bad words to u bt there was a reason i bought a high end gaming pc instead of a cheap gaming console..alright..!
To the PC crowd:
Hey guys, the arcade version is basically a PC port running on a low-mid range PC inside a cabinet. That means two things:
1. The porting job would be almost complete, Capcom would only need to polish GFWL support and hardware compatibility) (already done on Vanilla, It shouldn't be too different for Super) and just throw it on Steam and let the money come.
2. If Capcom doesn't port it, someone's gonna dump the arcade version and there will be a PC version anyway (no online though unless someone figures out some GGPO-ish method).
dudley combo

#23 That's a moot point, SFIV on the 360 was one of the most pirated console titles too.
Every game gets pirated, what's important is the actual money made from real sales, and according to Capcom SFIV sold well, but probably not enough to make a huge profit, and that's why they're not getting a port this time.
I just hope that there are 6 ADDITIONAL CHARACTERS not just 2!
Alex, Elena, Q, Rolento, Yun, and Yang PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Kidkash i was just going to type what you said. I think we will get the new characters a year after the arcade version gets released. There is no point of an arcade version especially at that price if we could get them as dlc. I hope we get them eventually though.
We need more than just characters added if this game is gonna last. The community needs to start exploring the current new cast if we want any real change in gameplay or dynamics. Hell I've stopped playing SSF4 for SF2T because I'm tired of the online bs.
Is this Upgrade in December also for the ps3?
Please tell me ... Thank you guys in Advance
23 grand for an update? no wonder arcades died here. If capcom wants to keep arcade operators buying there gonna need to keep those arcade upgrades exclusive for a good while.
Porting an arcade game to PC is easy, cant see why they shouldn't. Just make the game steam only and Piracy wont be a problem.
So are the new alts going to be available in the arcades or what?
PC FTW.
Another reason PC is FTW, no GFWL local restrictions(like xbox), I dont have to only play US people, someone in japan or korea can play US on PC, I play them in vanilla all the time.
GET PC SF4
@22 That makes PERFECT sense. PC will come one way or another. I would advise Capcom to port and make some money off it.
Well Ono said that the demand for the Arcade HAD to be there if capcomz were to come out with it. I guess the Demand for the cabinet is there and given the co$t of the Arcade, it must be a goooooood sell.
DLC will come quick I bet, but in increments.
No mention of when this will be out on DLC yet? This is starting to seem like its gonna be out in April the next year again. If it's gonna take that long I wouldn't mind capcom just making a third separate game and paying all over again but adding another 10 characters or 8 at least and that way more people would have a chance of getting the character they want in the game.
Also have capcom decided who they're gonna put in the game or are they still deciding? I don't see how they'd have enough time if they're still deciding so I'm guessing they started making the 6 new characters since SSF4 came out.
Hopefully, console we get the updates withing at least 2 weeks of the arcade release.
As for PC gamers.....
Please STFU about releasing SSFIV to PC. God..... Seriously.... I'm tired of hearing your whining. You complain soooooooo dammmmmmmm muchhhhhhhhhh. Get a console and enjoy the sensation. It's far too easy to pirate crap on a PC and I don't know how many times I have to repeat this same old bs. PC isn't going to happen any time soon.
If you can afford a high end PC or just a PC that can run SFIV, you can afford a console. Stop being greedy and cheap and buy a 360 or a PS3. God!
You don't constantly hear PS3/360 users complaining about Tatsunoko vs Capcom. You guys are the biggest complainers in the world and I only hope that SSFIV never see's a PC release cause you guys don't deserve it.....
A little math problem i just had on my 3grade exam (my teacher is a top SF4 player):
Suppose a location open 8hours a day every day of the week, with a player getting an eternal challenger both playing all day long.
Each game is about 2 minutes.
The machine costs 23,000$ and each match costs 0,50$.
Loser needs to pay for rematch, winner don't.
How long it will take for the machine's owner to start making profit out of it?
-----------
Not sure if i'm correct..:
8(hours)x60(minutes)x60(seconds)=28,800 Seconds per day.
28,800/120(match duration in seconds)=240 match a day.
240x0.50(cost of a game)+0.50(the initial 0.50$ everyday's first game)=120.50$ a day.
23,000/120.50 = No wonder there's no SSF4 arcade anywhere
@#50
I've never seen an upgrade kit let alone used one, but I'm assuming that the upgrade kit can be used more than once as I'm also assuming it's raw data. Could be wrong but that's my guess. For 23k per unit I'd rather buy the cabinet for 7.5k each and just buy a hardcopy for like 400 bucks.
It just sounds unlikely that SSFIV alone would cost 23k. That just sounds silly.
Arcade there, arcade here. BLEH release it already.
