This trailer is a bit unusual, as two characters are typically announced together, one from Marvel one from Capcom, but this only shows one new fighter.

She-Hulk is there as a silhouette, which is awesome, and it looks like Venom is there as well, which is sweet (Though I didn't care too much for his MVC2 move set, hope he gets a new one that feels more "venomy).

I'm curious who the new silhouette is. I can understand why you guys think it's she-hulk, but I'm curious how they'd make her different from regular hulk? From the outside looking in, it doesn't seem like you could do much.

I believe mystery girl is C.Viper, she obviously has Vipers massive rack and you can see the hight of the hair hair bumps of her ponytail, its a pity the copyright info is covering her shoes tho, they could be heels which would further add to it.

I think the new SShooultte, i dont know the spelling well, itss going to be Saki, from QUiz dreams, first series character apperances by capcom, She was Great in Tatsunoko VS Capcom, I hope Batsu comes for the ride. But Tron Bonne, first megaman character annnounced. I hope Megaman from the 2d ones Zero from TVC. Roll too. Some new Marvel characters, some girls from their side hopefully too. This game wont be out for like 7 to 8 months so i think the roster will be huge i hope. Trailers r brilliant i must say

Still looks like the fake list is still correct so far, except for Dormammu being in the game... I'm still not convinced.
I was hoping for a Lost Planet character in his vehicle instead of Tron Bonne, but shouldn't she be on the villain's side? Well lets see how they change her a bit, I would hope Tron Bonne plays better, at least that confirms to me that the level is not based off of Mega Man Volnutt.
I guess She-Hulk, but it could be any of course well for instance the woman is not that big looking, but obviously she's the sexy type of character

I'm putting myself behind the "Frank West is the pilot" theory, just because I totally want him to just take off the helmet in an upcoming trailer update, pull out his camera, and start covering himself a war.
As for the silhouette, after conferring with a Super Comic Book Nerd friend of mine, I'm going with Ms. Marvel. I think we'll find out at TGS regardless.

You kidding? If anything, it's too skinny to be She-Hulk, who is usually drawn with muscles and she's bigger than Ms, Marvel. That's more than likely Ms, Marvel. Besides, the "too skinny" thing doesn't fly either way, since the art work will be bigger when revealed.
The salute being the biggest hint, since Ms,Marvel was in the US air force.

She-Hulk was teased at EVO a while back, someone ask about a team of lawyers made up of Wright, Daredevil and She-Hulk, Seth said one of those characters are in the game.
Daredevil and Wright have been deconfirmed.

2nd, who ever noticed about the pilot dress like frank west has a good eye, cuz i noticed it too around my 2nd or 3rd watch of the trailer! (im like... "why the pilot is not wearing a pilot gear?")
3rd, the unknown ??? character in the silhouette picture, is very hard to tell, definitely from marvel side and not she-hulk, judging from a news/interview with seth killian:

Akuma, War Machine, X-23: All clones. No clone characters will be in this one.
Elektra, Shuma-Gorath: LMAO.
Emma Frost, Mr. Fantastic: Deconfirmed.
Juggernaut: No chance of that happening, since he's too large of a character & would take much more memory.
Chuck Greene: Who the hell is he?
Hsien-Ko: No more DS characters will be in this one.
Other than that, more characters have a chance of making it in, especially Megaman himself.

Hopefully I get my Frank West and Albert Wesker. Having them Chris Redfield and Dante in the same game would be too sick. As for the Marvel females Rogue and Psylocke was always fun to play and it would be interesting to see some lesser known heroines too.

Very interesting. It looks like the story focus will be more of a "Good vs Evil" rather than a "Marvel vs Capcom" which is still cool for me. Only issue i see is there hasn't really been many if any Capcom villains announced. I guess we'll see how that goes.

Tron Bonne!? YES! HECK YES! I am VERY happy she was included. Now I REALLY want the Megaman to be Trigger. Also now there is FINALLY another humanoid woman who isn't under dressed. Trish aside this Trailer was the best. I mean, Ono said " the most crazy things in a capcom game " blabla maybe its mystique with some unique abilities. She fight with the moves of the ennemy's team. U have deadpool , dante and captain america in your team she will have their fighting skills. U know have vjoe, amaterasu and dormamu she will now have their moveset ... Or maybe a sort of new mvc2's spiral idk.

The ??? silhouette appears to have glasses on, and the only character suggested who wears glasses is C.Viper, although I might have seen She Hulk with glasses on but I'm not sure about that.
Also Frank West as the pilot could be a nod to his arrival (& escape? Haven't finished it but presume he leaves by helicopter as well) in dead rising.

Actually, Capcom comes from Capsule Computers - the name of the gashapon type machines they made before becoming the company they are today.
Captain Commando was created as their mascot afterwards, but for the same reason you mentioned.
With regards to the trailer, it's great to see Tron back in! I've always liked her, despite rarely using her in MvC2.

The silhouette is definitely saluting. Cammy did a lot of saluting in her poses in MvC2, though the hair doesn't fit that well. She-hulk COULD very well be a character and fighter of her own but come on.... that really doesn't give much variety to the roster. That would be like saying Akuma Ryu and Ken are all totally and completely different from each other.
NO! NO MORE TVC Chars. Frank West is cool and all but he was a fun joke char for TvC. NO MORE JOKE CHARACTERS CAPCOM.

I'm really loving how these "episodes" are doing an excellent job at portraying a central story while introducing the characters, it's getting really exciting!
As for the new characters, I'm not going to hold my breath any longer, whoever gets in, gets in. I don't have a wishlist anymore, the final roster is pretty much done, there's nothing I can do except wait until it comes out.

She hulk is far more intellgent then her cousin infact she can change form at will, so her fighting style would be less smash everything and more Smash general ares, plus she's not as strong but faster.
Chuck Greene(who is the hero of DR2) is a Pro motorcross rider and knows how to combine and fix things unlike frank who's a report "who has covered wars you know". so their moveset would be drastically different if you played to their strenghts.
X-23 while an actual clone of another character, has only 2 claws in each hand and one claw in her foot(meaning she's had to adapt another fighting style), so on top of that and being trained from an infant to be a black ops weapon she's radically different from Wolverine who barely has a move set that you can call a 'style' since most of them just him slashing wildly
on that note
Frank west isn't that much of a "Joke character" while treated as such in TVC and while coming from a game with an underlying(Erotic photo shots) and optional(Clothing options) humor, the game was pretty dark, going into how people would actually psychotically snap and others would attempt to hold it together in a situation like a Zombie invasion. Hell, the "real" ending was Frank being left stranded in the Zombie infested mall. the 100% ending(aka the ending after you get the "real" ending) was Frank being left on top of a tank surrounded by zombies with no clear way out.
as for which megaman is in:
Star Force or EXE since original mega was in mvc 1&2, Volnutt(Legends) was in TVC and X has been deconfirmed

Trish is... ugh. Should be relegated to an assist for one of Dante's Supers. Like help him with the sword of Sparda. I'm saying this early but just how i feel. With Lucia they could bring her back from obscurity and present a fresh new style, and with Nero or Vergil, that would represent the DMC Team fully. Granted Nero plays similar to Dante, and an argument can be made for characters with too few moves, but what about characters with too many? Certainly Dante fills that category but he's being worked in quite well. you can't base what you think an entire characters moveset would be on one game. case in point -= Broken Record time =- Jin CapCom Strider. as for RE I know Chris is Pivotal as one of the first, and i don't know how the fans feel. but he's always struck me as a team character. as in he can't fight alone. If it's his sister, Jill, or Sheva, he always needs a partner. this can be easily argued. but look at Leon. Point one the coat. Point Two the presidents daughter was a drag and he still got the job done. and his look just seems... right. Chris looks like he'll be fun to play, and while nothing completely rules out Capcom on the DLC, they haven't exactly been happy about it in fighting games. No doubt they knew for SFIV we'd want more, and i'm glad super came on a seperate disc, but surely they know the process by now. Jill is staple for some people and not seeing her is a little weird. and Wesker... Everyone needs a bad guy. that much can't be denied. and he seems to be the perfect one.
not gonna rant about cyclops, or iron fist. Namor or Gene from Godhand or even ghost rider cuz i think some of you feel it deep down. but let's see what they've got on mind

That pose is more Sexual, not someone saluting which why my guesses are either She-Hulk, Black Cat,Polaris, and Scarlet Witch.
Just so you know silhouette images can be scaled because it's just an image so the size doesn't matter. The heroine that is known to be the most sexual (or big time freak) is She-Hulk. But the pose could be anyone because I saw pic of Polaris, Scarlet Witch, Black Cat, and She-Hulk in that same pose.. Just google image it. Also notice the curly hair, but still could be anyone. She-Hulk makes herself skinny on purpose to appear more attractive and sometimes she doesn't wear the same clothes nor gloves... Besides I hope Storm still in the game,but I don't want to see all girls from X-men.. For sure it's got to be a Marvel girl this time to Match-up with the Sexual Trish lol

I think everyone forgets the fact that Frank does wrestling moves in his own game. He uses weapons primarily because he's going through hoards of Zombies, but by canon he DOES know how to fight.
I really dislike when people say that he's a joke character. I didn't eve like playing as him in TvC, and I don't really want him in MvC3, but I at least don't try this "joke character" bullcrap.

Though I will admit they had to work around his moveset to make him unique, and wanted to incorporate zombies into his moves, so I do understand why people feel he was a joke with shopping carts flying across the screen and Megaman transofmation.
But he would work as a fighter on his own. He took out a military general on his own, without any weapons.

If you really want SEGA and Capcom characters in the same fighting game so badly, try Mugen or pay Capcom the licensing fees necessary (because I have a good feeling they aren't going to shill out a few hundred thousand dollars just because of whiners like you who demand characters from other companies even though the title clearly states Marvel vs Capcom). Some of the requests here also seem dumb. Sakura, Akuma, and Ken? If you wanted shoto clones so badly, then keep playing SF. Do you remember MvC2's biggest problem regarding how even with 56 characters, only 4 or 6 ever got used in competitions? Just let them use the characters they want as long as they turn out as unique as possible (kind of the reason why Alastor, Nero, & Vergil probably won't be in this game).
Oh, and regarding Frank West, I say it's a reference to the game. I need something REALLY concrete if you want me to believe he's actually in the game.

i think a few (if not the entire community here) is overreacting to the whole issue with character selection so far.
before i get started here are my thoughts
1. tron bonne and hopefully frank west in MVC3 (yay)
2. im just throwin my hat in the ring with the whole "crazy character" and say it could be Sandman from the spiderman universe (play spiderman shattered dimensions and you will see why i say that)
okay now for people saying " oh it wont be as good as MVC2."
well if your so unhappy with MVC3 so far, then why not go get a dreamcast copy or download it off PSN or Xbox live?
also it might be alittle more complicated on who they choose then just by popularity contest.
dont get me wrong, i hate that no power stone or rival school characters wont be in it (rival schools is one of my favorite games of all time), but no matter who is going to be in the game, im still going to get it because i love the marvel fighting series.
as for the silhouette, im going to go with rogue due to the hair style.
it would be funny if antman was in the game or Zack and Wiki

why not just download or get a copy of MVC2 and just shut it? serious its getting more annoying that you guys are griping and saying

For those saying the silhouette is saluting, it isn't, she is like scratching her head, if she were saluting, she would be in a straight position, no in a so relax one. That being said, it's probably She-Hulk or Ms. Marvel, it is definitely not a Capcom character, since there is a certain balance of number in both sides.
But seriously, why do people want more SF characters? We already got Ryu, Chun Li, and (I am really hoping to be wrong) C. Viper.

I believe the new silhouette is Mystique.Looks like her to me.And I believe the pilot is her transformed.Seth said recently that X-men fans should be happy.I'm hoping that's not Frank West.

man alot of people hate Frank West when he was one of the better characters from TVC.
well I though he was one of the better characters from that game. I think he would do great in MVC3 or atleast put in the new guy in DR2 since he can make combined weapons and such, but he still doesnt have the charm that Frank has

Im going to go ahead and say its dazzler reason #1 deadpool #67 reason #2 udon reason #3 fits capcoms off the wall style reason #4 would look great in game with new graphics engine and would excite game character design artist reason #5 nobody would see it coming

Not she-hulk, (She is just as tall as her cousin.), with Iron man's rise in popularity, Black widow seems likely, not black cat since she has no fur around her wrist or forearms. Could be giant-sized x-men storm too.

It looks like they are using multiple characters from each game universe and by telling from these Episode Trailers it looks as though they are taking a strong Story approach so its most likely that since Tron Bonne is in the Game, it might be safe to say Volnutt will appear in this game as well and they will probably modify him a bit to make him fit in the Marvel vs Capcom world than TVC.

Tron bonne wtf?_?a f****g character that only appeared in two games almost a decade ago that lives in volnutt shadow...but after awhile imma have to join the rest of my friends and start calling them crapcom -_- come on capcom just annouce albert wesker already that is the only thing im looking forward to now after so many of characters i ask for got decline but i also still think they should have two different type of controls new style or old style that shouldnt be to hard to ask for right?

If sigma or vile are in the game they wont be out of place. Roll in tvc didn't have her brother mega man and it worked out fine. I wouldn't even be surprised if volnutt and classic mega man are in it. They fight so different

Alot of characters i want arent in,but alot i do are,(deadpool,amy,super skrull).i used t bonne alot in mvc2,shes a good rush down character,a cant wait to see her robot in action with these graphics.
