Community news roundup for September 8th Here's a roundup of some of the things happening in the fighting game community.

• Juicebox Abel has a great podcast discussing character selection in fighting games, specifically Super Street Fighter 4. He also goes over strategies and such. You can download the .mp3 file here (18.1 megabytes, length is 19 minute 48 seconds). Via BLGaming.

• Behold the true power of Dan's Saikyo Ultra 2, or it could just be some weird hit box stuff...

• BossLogic has new hyper real art for Hugo and Poison.

• This may not be your cup of tea at all, as it's fairly ridiculous, but Street Fighter High: The Musical is available in two parts. Part 1 and Part 2 feature people dressed up as cast members doing songs and such, and there's even a cameo by Justin Wong. If this is your thing, hit up the Street Fighter High YouTube channel.

@ #4 - You are correct, we were lucky enough to have him do the announcer/narrator work for us :D.

That hyper real Hugo face looks like that of Josh Barnett's.

Street Fighter High: The Musical is actually quite entertaining, it reminds me of the other great home-made style film series "Street Fighter: The Later Years"

"Did you say, SHORYUKEN!" <-- That line made me lol

Street Fighter Musical is complete hit or miss. I see that it has fans, but to me it's beyond dumb. Cammy dancing around in the first video was nice to watch though... I wouldn't mind seeing more of that.

Okay that Hugo is one Hyper Real piece that I kind of like

Poison, though.... her hair looks like it was just cropped out and slapped on. It looks plastic, not very good at all

Jennifer Zhang is almost as bad as Rina Chan. Equally unfunny if not, even more unfunny. That "musical" is an atrocity.

DAT IBUKI

What's Wong doing in a high school? Ain't he a bit old, or is he pulling the Saikyo approach of trying to get gullible young kids to pay for fighting lessons?
