Evil Ryu is one of the most pointless characters out there TBH.

Akuma is Ryu's father, it's an obvious implied myth from Capcom
How could you guys have forgotten about CvS2's Evil Ryu?
He was pretty much remade into a boss character like evil Iori (snk).
Speed, power, bad health, he had it all.
The only con I got for this art is that they chose the wrong kanji on his back.
Supposed to be "Metsu" (Destruction), not "Ten" (Sky).

There's a balance in how much news you should throw at readers and how often... This was a story I considered not running, but the hyper real series has been VERY popular with readers, so I thought it was a good idea to post it.
Regardless of that, I appreciate your feedback. While I don't always respond to stuff, I read the comments area a lot, and I use it as a gauge to shape the site.
Also, for those of you who liked this story, thanks for the feedback as well. As I said before, I think there needs to be a balance, but I'm really happy you enjoyed this.

hum evil ryu is a different from the normal ryu in terms of specials and super. his shoryuken does 3 hits, his low. tatsu gives the same juggle effect that akuma has, his super is the same has ken's and he can also do an horizontal airborne tatsu like gouken(well in cvs2 only...not in alpha 3)
if with all that, he looks like a mixup of ken/gouken/akuma...I don't see why people here say he looks like a ryu
Thanks for the respectful response, Catalyst. Sometimes it feels like Eventhubs posts any random thing just for the sake of posting them- I guess the phrase "slow news day" applies. It gets annoying when I want to see if there's anything cool or interesting in the community, and it's just fan art that someone thought looked cool.
(though I do like the less substantial posts sometimes- the horrible Juri tattoo is hilarious)
And personally, I just think the hyper realistic series looks grotesque. I'm not saying that the artist is untalented, but I don't like the way they look.

And, to the big bad people calling me mean names, I commented because I was giving feedback to how the website is run, not just "whining." I'm really glad that Catalyst responded, because it kind of validated my commenting in the first place. I like Eventhubs and I find it to be a very nice resource, so I get disappointed when I check the site and the only posts are about fanart or something. Honestly I normally would've ignored it and moved on, but I just lost my patience and felt the need to make a complaint.
Knowing that someone is actually listening is wonderful, though. I'm glad my comment meant something
oh well am a huge fan of E. Ryu but this doesnt look anything like him at all, am disappointed I must say. his hair is not that smooth, his symbol is Metsu (Destruction) and where is his Gi, Oh shocks, anyway thumbs up eventhubs for keeping up to date on all things street fighter.
just to let you know evil ryu does not Have that sign on his back its differnt serouisly ryu has his own symbol instead of copying akuma symbol
Despite the fact that Evil Ryu is a totally dumb and redundant character, that does look pretty cool.
