They're mourning constructive criticism on EventHubs, murdered by trendy hate.
@9
he said he doesnt wanna turtle and chun is in fact the turtle queen.
instead of trying to hate or criticize some dumb pointless sh!t, you could actually try and listen. its a little thing they ivented way back in the day, its called "learning" might help you a little...or not...who knows
i hope birdie and sodom make the roster.
also, give us birdies stage. where you fight in the truck stop restroom. piss and cigarette buds over the floor. thats birdies style
and the tall grass stage wit the the lightning in the background. i wonder why they didint put this one in sf4 to begin with since it is a fan favorite and the place where ryu first beat sagat by momentarily tapping into his dark hadou
@30
Birdie and sodom wont make it because there actually unique. Grapplers with good foot speed and other offensive options ie birdies turn punch and dash punch and sodoms rekkas.
ANd how could u forget the las vegas stage. Neon lights, show girls and crazy pimps equals aswome sf stage. Also a remake of sagats stage(with the gaint statue in the back) and maybe zangeifs stage because i want to see that russian guy drinking the boos in the back in 3d.
Man to hell with all the haters, Justin Wong is an alright dude. Him giving advice to those who need it shows at least a modicum of good character. Who hasn't lost to Gamerbee? srsly.
Won't make it because they're unique? What...? You're kidding right. You've got 35 god damn characters already. You don't think that's enough uniqueness? 35 characters of which only like 10 are used 90% of the time. And you want Capcom to add more. So that what, dumbasses can complain that they're 'low tier' or 'cheap' or 'just more grapplers'?
Shut up. Birdie and Sodom are not going to be in it because very few people like them. Alpha was and still is a crapfest of dickery.
No more characters. Enough already Capcom. Let the game sit for more than a year so people can actually get good at it without having to relearn. If they add any more they should be from 3S, not alpha. Alpha's already got more than enough.
@33
Last i checked 3s was the dam fall of sf in the 90s, so to say the alpha series is crap is hilarious.
And they should have stoped adding characters since the console version of sf4 and just worked on balanceing so that more of the cast is tournament worthy but for some reason capcom thinks more characters makes a better game. U think i dont know most of the cast is unused? I have been posting that for ages but it doesnt matter, there gonna keep adding more characters anyway, so instead its better to ask for legit characters. We need more grapplers and charge characters, sodom and birdie give us both. ANd then look at the 3s cast, other then alex we have the best characters already, the rest of them are garabage. WHo u gonna add? Q? Necro? Give me a break.
"Alpha was and still is a crapfest of dickerey" you sir are speaking blasphemy Alpha was one of the most badass games I have ever played especially Alpha 3 so add more of those characters in plus you guys are already getting 3s online why hog SSF4.
@SAMURAI: Yeah, since Makoto is widely acknowledged as a counterpick for Adon, right? Please think before you communicate with others. It helps, tremendously.
Glad to see you're still up to your old weeaboo ways, though. You kids just run through this hate routine without even considering what you're saying now. Yes, it is humorous at times (as SAMURAI's statements usually are; they're often so baseless that they must be the result of either injudiciousness or trolling), but they mostly come off as quite pathetic.
Keep defining the bottom of the barrel.
@38
Diago got tooken out by marn, so i guess that means hes washed up too?
How did this thread end up being about new characters as well? Let me just put this out there then - there will be NO NEW CHARACTERS from the Alpha/III series. We're going to get Evil Ryu and Shin Akuma/Gouken. Take that to the bank.
Justin's answer on dealing with bad matchups was interesting, but I like to just analyze what makes the match bad and try to minimize that.
I think I'll add Munson to my lexicon; I like that.
Never heard it before now, had to look that up.
If you're nice on the internet no one cares so why not be an jackass? I think asking for more characters is ridiculous and I think the way people act like the world is crashing down when the character they NEED in the game won't be in it. Even though they probably already own the game, now having the possibility become impossible is enough to rage. I think if you're one of those people you don't play the game, you just browse the forums and watch people. If you played the game you'd be busy working on a character already and tired of everything being changed every year.
If you're completely casual. Cool. Just say that.
Birdie and Sodom are imho, lame. Do I need to preface every sentence with 'imho' or, 'in my opinion', or 'I think'?
3S did not cause any decline in sf... And going by numbers if there are new characters other than Yun/Yang they'll be from 3S.
All I can say is.. This was a pretty solid episode. And cross-counter definitely needs to have Justin as a guest co-host in special episodes of cross-counter because he analyzes the game pretty good.
I was thinking of something... People are really struggling with the counterpick issue, and actually its having and impact in all the tournaments (specially the ones in the USA). I dont really want to write a bible here about my thoughts (because im too lazy right now to write it in english) so, sorry for my redaction:
1) If counterpicking is recently frequent in tournaments... maybe its because players are more focused in one matchup than in perfecting their games with one single character (look at GamerBee and other serious pros)
2) MvC2 wont have this problem at all, because you can CHANGE the caracters in the match looking for an advantage vs the enemy. Maybe this makes marvel a better game for pro competition... IMO
3) I insist... Justin is a genius, he just need to learn something about leadership, because he has all the tools (theory), all those comments were like so fkn preciseee OMG
Capcom needs to make up their mind on Chun-Li. In SF2, she was charge; in SF3, she was motion; in SFA, she was half and half; in SF4, she's back to charge. I personally think she's better off as a motion. She wouldn't be too broken, at least compared to guys like Balrog, Deejay, Guile, Bison, etc.
I just wish they would announce the character/characters already. I would be happy with Karin and Elena. I think they are both unique enough for SSF3. Karin is not a Fei clone. Yeah she has rekkas but they are different as you can use kicks to mix it up.
Elena? I think she has a unique style all kicks as opposed to Juri who has most all kicks (except Jab it think) Anway I want to try them all. Even though I play Gouken, Gen, Fei, Abel, Makoto and Dudley the most. so much for maining a character I just find those that I mentioned much more fun to play than any shoto clone.
Haha... I see Justin is a true Street Fighter fan, who also played SF3: 2nd Impact (I never know if it's called SECOND Impact or DOUBLE Impact(?)).
Ibuki was a DEMON in 2nd Impact, especially with SA3, which could lead to some crazy follow ups. A very SCARY character!
Personally, I wish they left Akuma's SA3 (Messatsu Gourasen) like it was in Second Impact. It was a reliable super with nice cancels...
So officially what form of mental 'tardation does Wong suffer from? By his physiognomy I'd say a severe form of Down's Syndrome...
Anyone...?
