• A Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Fight Club will be held in Atlanta, Georgia tonight from 8 to 11 p.m. EST. Capcom said previously that they'll be streaming it live.
• According to a financial report, Super Street Fighter 4 showed "strong sales" and "steady growth." This shouldn't be too big of a surprise, as Capcom has said before they're happy with how their fighting games have performed, but it's nice to see again that the title did well from a business standpoint.
• Level|Up will be partnering with G4TV.com to provide coverage of the SoCal Regionals. This will help the tournament scene get a bit more exposure outside of our community. The Level|Up crew added that they have full discretion on who commentates at the event.
• CrimosnQueso sent in this image of an Akuma pumpkin carving.

anyhow good to see SF doing well, well capcom spends more money to make crappier games, ever since clover has closed their doors and left

Thank God.
(SSFIV is different from 'Capcom sales profits'.
Don't hate on Adam, he brought you more audience, which some of are customers, which in turn bolsters the overall fighting game community. It's a MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL RELATIONSHIP. I hope I see more comments like 'Ghier99''s and less 'omg Sessler is Suxlor'.)
(Naw, wasn't talking about you. Just foreseeing alot of hate posts coming...)

sessler couldn't have been thrilled to commentate something he had little understanding of. g4 had to put one of their guys there tho so they could sell it to the public. he's probably as happy as anyone not to be commentating. well, unless he's become a hardcore sf player between evo and now.
It wasn't even that Sessler didn't understand Street Fighter, which would have been forgivable. He didn't appear to understand fighting games at all, which is hard to forgive if you're supposed to be some sort of gaming community luminary. The idea of fighting out two best-of-three rounds really isn't that difficult to wrap one's mind around, and it will be much better for everyone involved if only knowledgeable people are allowed near the microphone.
Ok so Ssf4 is running well...now release the damn game for pc..!
