Sorry, I can't comment on most of the video because I was too entranced by the beautiful music to notice. But I have been aware of that property of Rufus's U1 for a long time now, it still gets me sometimes if he whiffs it and I mistime my punish FA. I think something similar happens with Chun-Li.
Oh wait, I do have one more comment, aimed at people about to see this video: read the description. It's so much more awesome if you know that these clips aren't harvested from all over, they *all* happened to this guy and his friends.
When Juri's ultra whiffed after the animation starts is a serious problem. I only use her Ultra after EX Shikusen because of it. That whiff happens all the time because Capcom, for some reason, decided that it would make sense for her ultra to not hit on the backswing. :(

I can relate as a Guy player. I don't understand why Capcom decided his EX Tatsu doesn't hit in both direction given that he's...you know, spinning around with his foot out!
Well, that's what happens when a game is based on 3-D models instead of sprites.
Some guys forget that this game was created by CAPCOM. While certain people laugh when they see such things, others, like me, have dreams about fighting at least -once- not every second throwing these moments at them.

Low Cody Super catching Ken out of mid air was a "AREEEE YOU KIDDING ME OH MY GOD! FADC Throw stick/controller" moment if that happened final round with barely anything on the clock
Auto correct FADC criminal upper is just a "F***" moment that scrubs would be shook up but I'd would have been on abel's but from that moment on with an Ex-Ruffian
The Ex-Tatsu with no knock down was just a "Wut!?!"moment
Juri's and Viper's Ultra for 1 hit as well as Command Grab out of EX-Wheel Kick "something capcom needs to f***ing fix" moments
Double-Double KO "James Chen's 'srsly? srsly?'" moment mixed with "OMFG What does it mean?!"
To clearify what Hrm is saying, it's still basically 2D sprite hitboxes that'd you see in something like third strike or super turbo, it's just you see more hit box foolisheness like this and Zero Damage videos because you have 1000's of players casual, pro and in between with access to point out stuff like this instead of 100 pro players actively recording stuff just for knowledge of players or to see a sick combo video.
if they tried to implement more accurate hit boxes for everything half of the stuff people get away without a second thoug wouldn't work since you'd most likely have to get in very close just to go for a sweep. A shoryuken and Tiger Uppercut (Even Ken's flaming HP one which's flame trail might nick but not get a full hit) wouldn't even nick a crouching enemy unless in C.forward range.
@31 no just don't be airborne and you are fine. Everything else is fine. They should have got abel throwing zangief out of his ultra and wakup throws going threw dhalsim ultras and fireballs though.
Ryu's EX-Tatsu without the knockdown is actually something I see quite often. Especially when you're trying to do some of his combo trials in Training Mode. I'd say 1 out of every 30 combo that includes his EX-Tatsu causes the "no knockdown"-effect. Pretty strange actually...and it seems to be more frequent when the opponent is cornered.

if people only knew how many times i've been grabbed as i SEE the frame with me stabbing or kicking through the opponent, the getting grabbed the moment his foot touches the ground after a failed FBA, lol the times i've grabbed a projectile user only to see their projectile flying behind me, the teleporting air grab, certain other whiffs...
