Update: Microsoft has fixed the problems with the new costume patch for SSF4 and you're free to download the 145 megabyte update.
I tried to grab this a few hours ago and it was unavailable still. I'm in the East Coast.

(You guys really don't know what this patch does? It installed and made the costumes(At least the first set) visible.
I'm telling you guys, the release schedule for costumes is because something's gonna happen when the last bundle for all of them comes out is released! It happened with the most recent one...)
remember they said that the costumes originally existed on the disk (sfiv) but you had to pay for them to unlock them. the reason they where on the disk is so that you could see them if someone else online was playing with that costume.
so im guessing the reason for the patch is that these costumes where designed after the release of the game, meaning that for other people to be able to see them if you bought them, they would have to have the patch installed. am i right?
I'll wait until April myself as well. I'll agree that the new costumes here arent that much to shout about.
-Kens alt should have been business related or swapped with
Fei's to show off his CEO side a bit more. I would have been satisfied with any of the outfits he wore in the Street Fighter 2 animated movie.
-Fei Longs alt idea could have been a nod to Chinese Connection or Game of Death.
-Akuma - satisfied as is but a Cyber Akuma nod would have been cooler.
-Cammy - should have been a Jun or Juli outfit
-Guy- could have been way more ninja like. Too samurai looking imo.
-Ryu - shoulda gave him gym shoes if they want him to come off as more of street thug. Looks like a wanksta without em'.
Everyone elses costumes are ok but not good enough to rush to get them like I have with other costume packs. My favorite out of the new alts have been Guile, Cody, Sakura, Balrog, Rufus , Elf and Chun.
Sagat, Dan, Blanka and Abel have thee lamest and most uninteresting costumes by far.
They do definitely need to listen to fans more when it comes to picking the new alts. Ive seen some WAAAAAY better ones made by fans in the PC version of vanilla.

Because, you know, no high-profile players have ever been beaten in tournaments by any of those characters. It's a well known fact that it is impossible to beat Ryu with Dudley, and it's extra impossible to beat Adon with Makoto. I love you, Eventhubs community - Never Change.
Also, I can't seem to find these on PSN either. Seems like the store hasn't been updated yet, though normally it would be by this time on Tuesday. The patch downloads just fine, though. Hope the alts will be up.

and while I'm thinking about it, Guy's alt for one is more to show he traditionalism than anything, if you want ninja pick alt 2, also not saying its based off of him but in history jubei yagyu although always portayed as a samurai because of his cliched look, was in fact a ninja, and guy's alty liiks simular to that cliched look

Try buying the items on the website (www.xbox.com), not on your Xbox. Then when you start your Xbox they should download automatically.
If you feel insecure about this method, just try it with the free "Ultra costume catalogue" or whatever it's called.

As a Guy player myself I would've liked for Guy's costume to be more ninja like. Like he could wear a mask, the new alt has him with that wierd piece of hair at the top, and he looks way too much like a samurai. I mean he's a ninja, give him a mask already, at least he could've cosplayed Strider Hiryu, or Ryu Hayabusa.
I doubt Capcom would cease to make fighting games if the projected number of consumers didn't purchase these atrocious getups.
They've taken Guy's Bushido heritage a little too far. He was touted as a modern day ninja for a reason, leave the past in the past.
Well, that was disappointing. I could have swore they said they would let you view the models, but its only for it you buy them or play against players that do have them. Oh well, Rep to the guy that uploaded the alt and its colors and i will just buy the Shoryuken pack when i get my 800 points from the shopping spree.

It's not a necessity to have these alts.
no, my point isn't about the costumes, but the fact that they're making their so called fans wait so long to obtain them. of course it's not a necessity..never said it was. my point is, if they seem to care so much about their 'community,' why do they then do things like this that make it seem like they don't give a flying ....you know the rest. if they were more appreciative they would show a little more class when it came to not only giving DLC but letting people know what's going on with their projects as well. it's way more than just DLC costumes.
You Know What I Never Understand...Why Not Just Put All The Alternate Costumes on a Specific Dates in Seperate Packs instead months and weeks away and for new alt costumes in 1 whole pack they could have put it like 3-4 weeks later
