Update: An image showing Spider-man's new alternative outfits has been added into this story.

Spencer from Bionic Commando and Arthur from Ghost 'n Goblins, and Magneto & MODOK from the Marvel universe were confirmed as playable characters for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 at New York Comic-Con 2010.

• Arthur has all the attacks and specials he had in the original Ghost 'n Goblins games.

• Spider-man is the first character they're showing who will have alternate costumes. Iron Spider, Symbiote Spidey, and the new Spider-Man costume from the upcoming "Big Time" comics.

• The plot of the game is that Doctor Doom, with the help of Wesker, has assembled a team of villains together that could destroy both Capcom and Marvel's worlds. As such, it's a "Battle that will decide the fate of two worlds." i.e. Fate of Two Worlds.

• The lead battle designer for MvC3 is the same person from Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

• There could be a Marvel Super Heroes 2 if there was enough requests for one, but currently there are no plans. This is a pretty standard answer that Capcom gives, though.

• New game modes will be announced once more characters are revealed.

• Marvel will officially announce two new characters on their side at the Comic-Con panel tomorrow (Saturday) at 10:45 a.m. EST tomorrow. This is likely Magento and M.O.D.O.K who were accidentally leaked.

Juanrock it's actually a pretty decent game(I almost platinumed it) it was dodgey at times but still handled well and was tons of fun especially coming off rearmed

The 2009 Bionic Commando game was not very well received, but it did have its moments. However, many players even in that one used the costume that made Spencer look like the NES version of the character. I hope that is an option in MvC3.

Meaning only: Original, Star Force and Volnutt (maybe XZ) or a completely new design will be there and the director did say one megaman will be in MVC3

I just saw Arthur's gameplay video and, honestly, i found him really realy interesting! But, I insist, that Spencer and MODOK (cannot believe it yet!) shouldn't make it in the final roster. In addition, the game needs more female characters! Especially from Marvel's side! PLZ Capcom, bring us Psylocke, Jean and Storm!

Chris/Wesker/Spencer (Maybe Haggar if he's in, but I love Spencer's faux-Scorpion style)

Marvel team:

Hulk/Super Skrull/Iron Man (IM will probably be replaced with future reveals though)

X-23 is a terrible written character, who is in this and other things for male fan service.

M.O.D.O.K is a beloved character in the comic book community, with decades of stories behind him(Come on, he was created by the King himself!). He is here as fan service for actual Comic Book fans.
