Super Street Fighter 4 tutorials for Armor Canceling, Super Jump Canceling

nice videos. some stuff i didnt know surprisingly but then again i dont really play these characters

I actually didn't know about armour canceling into specials, supers, and ultras. I knew about the armour cancel to taunt.

I've seen some of them though, I CAME, I SAW.

this guy only did ibuki's sjc -> ultra while facing left... wonder if he has trouble doing it facing right like I do? I mean I've managed it only once in many, many attempts, despite the inputs being identical to when I've successfully done it facing left. Got lots of EX moves despite the input display telling me I'd hit up forward first.

Anyone who's ever seen videos of Maeda Taison would know about armor cancelling... He did it in vanilla against almost every Sagat player he faced.

If you watch the 3rd video, he does ibuki's trial 24 multiple times from the left side facing right.

I get what you mean though, I have good success when performing the SJC to ultra when facing the left, but cannot pull it off regularly when facing right.

I picked up Ibuki 2 days ago and I can't seem to get out her SJ everytime I want it to, especially when I want to do the vortex. Is there like any tutorial like these that shows how to do the SJ/vortex properly? :/

Why this didn't came out a year and half ago?... I learned this the hard way with Vanilla's C.Viper trials more than a year and half ago... This could help me a lot on that time... Nice tutorials anyway...

You don't have to SJ to use Ibuki's vortex...

after a knockdown just jump regularly and, at the apex of your jump, use a LP kunai. This should leave you on the other side of your opponent...

The only way I could ever figure out to use Gouken's counter-ultra cancel was to hold PPP, counter motion, release PPP and 2 quarter circles and press PPP again. I can't even begin to explain how fast it has to be done that way.

Does anyone have any more videos of armor canceling being pulled off in a match? I'd like to see it done a few more times in a real world situation.

Oh, I thought that you have to use the SJ.. my bad. :/ I guess I use the LP kunai not properly because they always seem to block right after I land. Thanks. :)

SAC is useful for a few characters. Makoto has some nice shenanigans with her EX grab into Ultra and Abel has a few good setups into his Ultra against slow fireball characters like Dhalsim and Guile.

Even more useful into Ultra 2 because you get 2 armor hits and an ultra.

for makoto, you just need to do ultra motion (qcf*2), then back+KK~PPP(or KKK)

Wow thats pretty cool. But honestly isn't a glitch? you're Using 2 EX moves for the price of 1. Very circumstantial though so doesn't break the game. But still...
