Sven: We're aware of Ed's desire. As I've mentioned in the past, when I was at Midway we raised this possibility with Capcom about 10 years ago.

Will the 3DS version of SSF4 have the additional content of the Arcade Edition?
Sven: As Ono has mentioned, there will be some original content unique to this version. I'm not going to comment on the arcade edition content at this time though.
[Editor's note: Ono said in another interview that the 3DS version will have the original 35 cast members from SSF4, so Sven isn't talking about the new fighters from the arcade edition here.]

The Morrigan example isn't as pronounced, but they covered up her breasts a bit more. With Felicia they basically can't show anything but her face, haha.
Lol at the ESRB. They're perfectly fine with all of the videos with people getting shot with machine guns, slashed with knives and claws, being incinerated, showing a character with a flaming head that is representative of a devil, and having Deadpool shout obscenities. But when it comes to natural human anatomy, oh noooooo, that just won't do.
Not to mention that there are videos on the website with the characters uncensored anyway.

@5: Yeah, that's just stupid & hypocritical at best. This isn't the early '90's anymore where parents were going beserk off of the violence of Mortal Kombat (that was why the SNES version of MK 1 was heavily censored with fatalities being changed while the Genesis & the Game Gear versions of MK 1 had blood & fatalities fully intact through a code). Even SNK USA did the same thing for their games such as Samurai Shodown series due to that.
We're in 2010 now, going into 2011, & there's STILL this garbage going on. Unbelievable. Both this country & Europe needs to get their heads in gear.

You can't be serious. Capcom put serious time and money into developing new characters and making gameplay changes and you expect it to be free? Capcom is a company whose primary goal is to make a profit, expecting stuff like this to be free is unrealistic.

You make it seem like, i'm talking about 8-12 year old kids are buying MvC3? Use your head, the people who'll be this game are probably 16 + males, and if your normal.. that's the age in which you should be showing attraction or sexual activity towards the opposite sex (not trying to bash at gay people); with that said, if any of you have friends, if you've never heard a friend comment on how a female characters' looks then, you actually don't have any friends so end yourself..
Of course, Sexual Content effects kids more! sure there are kids who like insane hack'n'slash gameplay, but in the entertainment industry, Sex Sells.. Video Games are meant to entertain so do the math, a successful video game always has some sort of sexual innuendo; don't play dumb!
First, I highly doubt that capcom would allow FREE DLC characters. LOL, come on people...... We are charged for costumes!!So, on the character front.... I expect they will ask us to pay anywhere from $10-$20. And I also expect that IF it is released as DLC, Capcom will make us wait till mid 2011. Sometime in Feb-April. Those are my predictions.

Am I the only person here who is sick of Ono's trolling? Do you really think that Capcom greenlit the arcade edition (knowing it would have extra content) without deciding on the changes being DLC? Really? Because no business on planet earth would sink money into something like this and not have a plan ready. So back to my point... Kind of weird that the ESRB would started to censor Felicia and Morrigan seeing how they were like this through most of the of vs. game that they appeared in. Not to mention that Morrigan was nude (with Lilith) in one of darkstalkers official art and the ESRB didn't say anything about that.

if capcom dont see a margin of profits in a ssf4 arcade edition DLC we wont see Arcade edition in consoles no matter if we beg.of 100% of super sf4 games bought only about 30% are hardcore players that will buy the DLC.profit?
It wouldn't hurt to give a benefit of a doubt to Ono. His proposal could be on HOW to arcade content DLC. Since it's a new project, they are probably waiting for AE to finish up before they can start work on the DLC. Seems like a good time to do a proposal. Also, Inafune doesn't seem to approve projects unless there is a good strategy. That's probably why SSFIV PC is still nowhere to be seen.
Since Darkstalkers is one of Capcom's more mature fighting game, wouldn't it be a better fit against Mortal Kombat?

@24 Amen! I said the same thing. Before SSF4 came out they were questioning it's release in the arcade because of lack of profits. There is no way in hell that they would put the resources behind creating new characters just for the arcade. Not a chance. Ono is full of sh*t when he says he's pitching it. It WILL be DLC.

It's not about whether it affects people more, all of it has an effect. If "sex" related content is perceived to be worse, then that's all that matters. Especially when company's names are on the line and they fear some element could stop them from turning profits.
